The one i have is model l14, printed on the colpac. can anyone confirm this is the same model?

Mine has an X18 printed on the colpac: I think this refers to the length as mne is 18.5: in length.

how much do they weigh?

Good question: when I put one on our kitchen scale it weighed 5 lbs 10 ounces. My wife really benefited from these.

Do these, "clinical grade," colpacs have a thicker covering than other black colpacs of the same dimensions sold on amazon?

I don’t know. However, we have two of these that we have been cycling through our freezer for the past five years and they show no signs of wear or damage, or being worn out and no longer functional. They worked very very well for the various back and shoulder elements we have had over the past half decade. We keep them in an old pillowcase so they are ready to use when we take them out of the freezer.

best reusable ice packs i’ve found to date

I had total knee replacement five weeks ago. Some friends recommended some other reusable ice packs that were stiff and required some weird adjusting that was never fully comfortable or fitting.Then, when I started PT onsite, my therapist gave me this at the end of the session. The way it formed to my knee/leg was amazing. He told me what kind it was and I immediately went home and ordered two to alternate between. They never stiffen, and it makes them perfect for any body part and ensuring you reach the area that needs to be reached (just make sure the size makes sense. This large size is great for wrapping one around the top of my knee and the half of my hamstring that is extremely tight behind my knee).These are the best ice packs I’ve ever used. HIGHLY recommend.

Highly recommend

I did rehab for severe tendinitis and after therapy they would use these exact ice packs on my arms I bought them for home and they’re amazing. The gel stuff inside contours to my arms so I have a wide area of exposure to the ice packs. They stay cool longer than the 15-20 minutes per application and they chill quickly. I highly recommend these I use them inside a pillow case on my arms daily now for months.

Don’t buy any but these black colored. They are heavy duty.

These pacs are the best. I used the blue color once and the corner broke into my chair. Even with hours of cleaning, there was no getting that out! These black ones are the BEST. I have several since I have psoriatic arthritis and use these during flares. Hands down the best.

These are like ice blankets for your recovery

These stay cold longer than anything else I’ve used. Check the measurements for the size you want but I would buy these again and again. I found them after I saw my physical therapist bring them out. Highly recommend! 🥶💪

Freezing yet flexible

I used one of these at my physical therapist’s office and loved it. It wraps around my knee perfectly and within 10 minutes any pain is numbed.
