Strip Is Black, Not White as Shown in Photos
I was disappointed to find the strip material is black even though all the product photos show a white strip. (I bought the "app with remote" option.) I need white for the place where I am putting it, so I had to return it. All my other smart lights are from this Avatar company and connect to their app, so I'm sad I won't be able to group a strip light within the same app.

Not very sticky
The lights have a very good brightness but aren't very sticky. The strip I put under my steering wheel fell off in less than an hour and now sits in the bottom door shelf of my car. I wish there was a slower color shift too. I also could not get the app to work for the life of me.

The remote control would have been nice to have.
The light strips were easy to install and the rest of the setup was quick, fast, and easy as well but unfortunately my package arrived without a remote included and as such can't really rate it or the app. Tried contacting customer support via their website for two days in a row now and all I get is an error when trying to send the message. I can't give it more than a 3/5 because of that simple fact alone.

It does the job I guess
The adhesive tape absolutely sucks. I ended up putting my own tape over it to hold it in place. Connection to Alexa worked one time. Since then has had issues connecting. The music setting is seizure inducing. It flashes at full strength at every noise. But my son likes that he can have a green light behind his tv so it works I guess

Worked well
The strip worked well.. the "music" function changed the lights every time it heard a noise... including walking on the hardwood floor...... still functioned thou :)however the strip is not very sticky and had some issues getting it to stay on the tv when I was mounting it.

Perfect IF it came with the proper adhesive
Great color and brightness. Easy to control and hide. Only problem, two strips came without any adhesive and another had the adhesive falling off.

Recommend TV backlights
The tv backlight does not have a remote control, but it still works wellI noticed that the product details page states that the tv backlight does not include a remote control, which is not harmful. I like its voice control and it works well with Alexa, so I don’t have to be depressed because I can’t find the remote control all the time.
