Solid backing at last!
This is the only steno pad that is a bona fide steno pad, because it has the solid thick backing that enables the user to take notes or shorthand anywhere on their lap, without the need for a table. All other steno pads I've tried are flip-floppy. It's pricey for one pad, but it's worth it to me to have the sturdiness. It also has 100 sheets vs. the 60 or 80 offered by the wobbly pads.

Could be better.
Pages stick together at the top and tear a little when you pull them apart. Expected better for the price.

Looking for a big coil on top? This one has it.
When I go to write up jobs, I like to have a notebook like this. I like to be able to put a pen in the coil that binds the pages together. So many of these have a small coil on top and you cannot put a pen in there. I have searched far and wide for one with a big enough coil and this one has it. The other advantage to the big coil is that you can flip the pages easily. Most of those with a small ring now get bound up and the pages are so weak that they tear. This one is much better than that.

Great steno for lefties but price is prohibitive.
Love these. Steno pads are a must for writers who are left handed. I use one every two weeks or so. I used to order in bulk but the price has steadily risen over the last couple years so I am on the hunt for something else. These are the gold standard for me though. Thick paper, sturdy backing, line spacing perfect for me, not college but not wide. Coils allow easy flipping and don’t bend out of shape easily. Last year these were in the $4 range and now are over $7. Bummer.

1/3 of notebook pages stuck together
I really like this notebook, it has nice paper, it has a sturdy cardboard back, the cover is understated. However about 10 pages into the notebook, a large chunk (about 1/3 of the pages) are glued together at the spiral bind making it impossible to turn the page without ripping the sheet off. The paper is still usable but flipping functionality is hindered and tears. Maybe I got a bad one but it's expensive enough for a steno notebook to comment on.

Nice notepad
Satisfied. The only thing I wish would be added is a top margin so I can better use it for organized lists I'd like to put a title to. The way it is now is basically lined paper with a coil going through, interrupting two lines at the top. This, as opposed to a blank neat-looking top, coil, and then a nice sharp line followed by the regular lines. That's for my wish list. But it works fine the way it is now.

Quality slipping a bit
I have ordered this product for about 9 years. Quality was good until 2021 order. Paper quality is the same, but the printing of the lines is not. Every other page of printed lines was faint. Hopefully it was just the one I purchased rather than the whole product.

Love this brand!
Gold Fibre steno pads are the best! Not cheap, but they are very sturdy with smooth paper and an extra-thick cardboard backing that makes it easy to take notes anywhere without the need for a desk or table to support the pad.

Bonita pero se atascan las hojas
Es muy bonita la libreta pero es poco funcional, las hojas no giran, no dan vuelta fácilmente, se atoran en el espiral como si estuvieran pegadas las hojas. Es una lástima.
