Do it!
Was skeptical at first, I'm coming from a Logitech G400 mouse that's served me well for the last 7-8 years in CS:GO. The low latency click brought me here, want the best advantage while playing. Size comparison its about the same as the logitech and the mouse wheel is in a better spot. Does have DPI button but is at the bottom you can't quickly change DPI in the middle of the round without lifting the mouse. (If you're a sniper and used to change DPI on the fly then its a lot harder/On the other hand if you're the kind that accidentally presses the DPI button on the Logitech you cannot accidentally change it on this Rog Chackram Core.Feels great on my hand, its built for the average hand and does not feel bulky. Since this is the wired version the weight doesn't seem heavy at all, infact its lighter than my logitech g400. You have a weight on the box to add if you want which is nice but I like it as is.Started instantly headshotting in CS:GO, would buy again definitely an upgrade.

Chakram Core is an excellent value mouse
I tried the original Chakram and it was too heavy. When Core version came out I ordered it and decided to keep it. Tracking in games feels way better vs Razer Deathadder I previously used. Chakram Core is also very comfortable, materials feel premium. I tried 10 other mice before keeping this one. My hand gets less sweaty and my FPS precision improved. ASUS Armoury Crate is a disaster - it installs 16 processes in Windows Task Manager and those processes stay on your PC even after a complete uninstall. I am using this mouse without the software using default Windows settings.

A awesome accessibility/gimmick device
Firstly for anyone that wants to play games and wanted to be able to move/look and even fully play some games fully one handed, this is an amazing device, and if you dont want to use the joystick as one, it doubles as 4 extra buttons to program keybinds too. unfortunatley the joystick is a tad too far forwards but feels well made, and the software is a pain to use and very much needs some tweaking (quite buggy in my experience, I'm having issues with the main 2 programmable buttons stopping/starting working randomly with certain commands programmed to them like macros and stealth modes) but all in all, an awesome mouse that I feel I'll be using for a long time to come

Best gaming mouse and have ever used
This is hands down the best gaming mouse I have ever used in my 20 years of gaming. I’ve had nearly every other brands flagship mouse in that time span and this one beats all of them. I personally have the wireless version for myself and got this one for my girlfriend who does light gaming. The joystick can be mapped to other buttons or macros. It comes with spare switches that have different resistances, they are incredibly easy to swap out and it is just an added sense of relief should a switch start to go out or have double click issues. The one I’ve been using heavily for FPS games and MMOs for the last year and a half, has not had any issues. Would recommend this mouse to anyone and I like that they offer a wired version at a much cheaper price point. 10/10

Great Mouse
Updated. I found the accessory items, except for the switch puller. This mouse is great for large hands. I can reach the joystick with no problems. I do not use the asus software. I only use the DPI button with the scroll wheel for increasing response time and the DPI + back button to change profiles. I leave the RGB alone with the default color cycle.

So far so good, with flaws...
TL;DR:If you want to reduce software bloat that comes from the "ARMOURY-CRATE Install" software suite and, only *after you "Sync"/download any mouse configuration settings you make in the software to your mouse, then *also download and run the "ARMOURY-CRATE Uninstall" package. You may uninstall all the other packages, leaving only the mouse driver (almost, more details below).Reasons for 3 out of 5:-1st point: My package arrived what appeared to be unopened (taped), yet my package was still missing the light diffusion disk, the tweezers, and the extra switches (shown in multiple unpack and review online videos).-2nd point: The installation software is Bloat++. Seems to want to take control of the entire machine (sysboard, keyboard, audio, etc.). Many new processes and services completely unrelated to the mouse. More %cpu utilization. Another reviewer mentioned this (Mike Y.) and goes into more details.CAUTION: After the ARMOURY Uninstaller I also used "Autoruns" (search it) and after launching in "Admin" mode I removed a few more "Asus" drivers and services left over from the Uninstall process. Know for certain what you are deleting, otherwise don't. After a reboot I had a clean boot that quiesces quickly to 1% cpu and only 45 background processes.Otherwise considered, the mouse lives up to the good reviews: Low latency, nice weight, grip, features. I'm recently coming from two SteelSeries mice, and this ASUS mouse has tested to be less lag than both.

Great all-around mouse
Very nice feel for my hands. It is bigger than most average mice, but it is comfortable. The side analog stick is very cool feature.
