Overall construction of these sprayway shoes seems really good, sole is deep cleated, rubbery and firm. Sewn in tongue, decent looking hardware, and even more so for the price, just such a shame that they aren't water resistant, let alone water proof. Not the problem with the seller in the slightest - they received them back and refunded no problem but the shoes themselves let water in on a very straightforward initial walk of two miles, just a few damp areas on the walk and I could feel the water entering the shoe, such a pity. They do look strangely familiar when comparing to karrimor bodmins so maybe a rebrand? A brilliant shoe shoe for drier weather or if you want to spray them yourself for outer water resistance, just best not to rely on the membrane

I walk a lot and no matter how much or how little you pay for shoes they always wear down on the heel and can’t be repaired, these are excellent value and you can buy new pair each year.
