Needs the separate Homebase to work but it’s an excellent product for the price. Small, long battery life, night vision as well as spotlight and a nice 2K resolution. Easy to setup with the app, just have it near the Homebase and follow the instructions. Works great with the optional solar panels, even North facing there is enough light to keep the battery topped up during the winter months! No subscription necessary (stores video onto the Homebase) but cloud subscription is an option if you require it. The app allows access to videos stored on the Homebase via the internet, you need WiFi to access these features but even with WiFi failure the camera will record as it connects to the Homebase via its own proprietary wireless connection independent of your home WiFi.

Purchased this camera for a great price on Amazon Prime day, it was simple to set up with our doorbell and other outdoor camera , it all connects to the Homebase 2 we have. Great picture quality and simple to use with the Eufy app, if any motion is detected weather day or night the camera does a great job of capturing it and notifying you via app, where you can play the footage back, very happy with the camera.

I spent a long time deciding to once again go for wireless security cameras. The last system I installed (3 cameras) all failed after about about 3 years and were troublesome in operation. I read a lot of stuff on line about Eufy battery operated cameras and apart from a few horrendous reviews they seemed to be scoring fairly high on customer satisfaction. I tried a few times to get a definitive answer from Eufy regarding battery life. (Not operation from a single charge but would the lithium battery still be functional after x number of years. I had some pretty evasive answers. However eventually Eufy did give a written answer saying the battery should last in excess of 3 years. So that bit of reassurance helped my decision making. Like many other reviewers I found set up of home base and cameras straightforward and also adding another camera was easy. Another plus was the WiFi operation, I have 3 cameras around our house and none of them have ever gone offline in about 3 months of operation. The recharge period, even at the most efficient setting will never reach 365 days. I will probably need to recharge based on current operation by the seventh month (which is not too bad) I guess under laboratory conditions 365 days would be achievable. These cameras are physically small, picture quality is ok but not spectacular. The facial recognition snapshot may well be useful to catch a criminal but not all clips contain such an image. There has to be a clear view of somebodies face for that facility to activate and take a shot. I am beginning to think they really are expensive toys but they do what is written in the blurb. If you want professional cctv characteristics you need to employ an expensive wired system. I spent many months researching and watching how the price of a Eufy package oscillated up and down on Amazon and other suppliers. If you are thinking of purchasing Eufy, DONT buy at the “normal” price, if you are patient you will always get a deal. Keep an eye on the market. I got my two camera and home base set reduced from £349 to £249 in a sale from Curry’s.

Easy to set up and add to existing system. Battery life is really good and does last for several months. Picture quality is excellent. Recommended.

Good value, excellent quality and easy to set up, well worth the cost

If youre looking for security, this is the best easiest option. No subscription needed, so no hidden monthly costs. No unsightly wires going round the outside of the house, no drilling through the walls to get to a power supply or to the DVR box.....just drill to mount it where you want it (after fully charging it), connect to your phone and job done. Every 3months or so, take down to recharge. Time depends on how often its used. Great picture quality, day and night. Easy to use interface

I have had these cameras for a couple of years now and i always thought these were brilliant until just recently. Firstly i have to say these cameras are brilliant 1. 5 star for easy to set up 2. 5 star for reliability 3 5 star for video quality 4. 5 star for notification 5 5 star for app to configure your preferences So why have i put a 1 star rating well once you do a internet search on its security it becomes very worrying . These Eufy cameras have a major flaw where anyone inside 10 seconds can wipe all video recording off your security system all from the camera outside of your house if you dont believe me look up the info on the internet yourself. Some one could steal your camera or break into your house easily knowing that these cameras wont have any evidence as all evidence can be wiped from your system in under 10 seconds. This has been a major flaw now for years and Eufy dont know how to fix it and have been saying they have informed there developers but so far no fix for nearly 3 years. Eufy called this a feature because its linked to the setup and resetting up of cameras and so say its really difficult to fix but burglars etc can use this to wipe the recordings .. I was worried very much about the above problem so i subscribed to the cloud online backup feature that Eufy provide. This cloud feature costs £9.99 a month but i thought could be worth it as then it makes my recordings delete proof so therefor solving this issue as the data wont be accessible to a burglar etc all is good so i thought. So anyway while i was on the cloud subscription i needed to see a number plate of a car that did some damage to my front so when i zoomed in i realised i could not see it as it was lower resolution, which i thought was odd as i had upgraded to the 2K cameras. So i went in to put the quality resolution of the camera back up to 2K only to see the option greyed out and a message telling me that because i have subscribed to the cloud back up they are not allowing me to have resolution above 1K. The support team told me this is to keep the size of the video smaller for their servers. You would think thats what the monthly subscription of £9.99 a month was for to cover server costs. I advise if you think you will use the cloud option its not worth doing it if you have cameras that are higher than 1K as they dont allow you to use high quality recordings. Additionally they remotely came into my phone device and changed my cameras that i own to the 1K resolution with out my permission or my knowing about it. Reducing the resolution makes your cameras less safer as you cant see anything in detail if needed when you zoom in to see better. I thought it was very unethical to make changes to my cameras and phone device that belongs to me especially where security is involved with out informing me. Obviously its in the interest of Eufy to keep this practice quiet from its customers. I have lost confidence in these cameras now and wanted to warn you before you make purchase yourself. I did complain to the support team but you just get a cheery person on the phone that ignores all your important points about lack of security and reads out the company line of how secure they are and how your comments and the security of the cameras are so important to them even though they do nothing about it. Just as a helping guide for others regarding other comments i have read i have added the below comments. Well sometimes these cameras don't record because you might have a car parked or a large object blocking the motion detector from seeing / reducing movement. Also these cameras are heat motion detectors so technically they should not detect cars but they do because of the heat from the cars bonnet. This means though sometimes if a car is reversing towards the camera or a car has Just started up in cold weather it cant see the heat of the bonnet and will miss the motion. The activity zones work much better for human detection and not for cars and other moving objects especially large objects.. I found the functionality of these cameras to be brilliant its just the security of them are flawed.

I already had the 2K doorbell with the hub, and being happy with it - battery life on that been about 3 months per charge. This is super easy to install! No wires so it can be screwed in pretty much anywhere (within your Wifi range). It came with about 80% battery so I havent charged it yet. Plenty of notifications/videos as our dog keeps running, so battery still around the same in the past 2 weeks. It has a small led light thats suprisingly powerful - but it requires additional light to turn on. So I have nearby a solar powered PIR light to support it. Works well. With the led light the night vision is in colour. You can also adjust the motion detection zones on the app. So far happy - its not the cheapest but I love the quality of anything Anker makes.

Ich hab schon ein kleines Eufy-Imperium zuhause – und die 2C Pro reiht sich perfekt ein 😎 Bildqualität: gestochen scharf. Installation: kinderleicht. Und der Akku? Hält gefühlt länger als meine Neujahrsvorsätze ;-) Was ich besonders mag: Keine Abo-Falle, einfach anschließen, einrichten, läuft. Kurz gesagt: Top Kamera, super Akkulaufzeit, verlässliche Technik – Eufy bleibt mein Favorit!
