Motorola X Sol Republic Deck Bluetooth NFC Wireless Speaker - Electro Blue - 89640N

I spent almost a week researching a Bluetooth speaker for me and my wife to use around the house. I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on one so I was looking between $50 and $100. I came across several of the Jam brand speakers which seemed good, but then I saw this Sol Republic Deck. After reading the reviews and watching a few YouTube videos I knew this was the speaker for us. I was able to purchase this beautiful Electro Blue speaker for $45 which I think is a steal for this speaker. For something that is a little larger than my Note 4 it is Loud and very clear!! The Bluetooth range is exceptional on this speaker. It only took me less than an hour to go from almost dead to fully charged. The heist mode on this device is also very cool. You can connect up to 5 devices at the same time and switch between them. There is an indoor mode and an outdoor mode on the speaker which increases the coverage and depth of the sound. I am overly impressed with this speaker and recommend it to anyone who wants a good quality speaker.

Product arrived on time, however, the speaker has not worked since the first day. I thought that it needed to be charged first so, I let it charge. I turned on the speaker and it worked for a few days. But, after going past a certain volume level, the speaker cuts out and no longer plays music. The volume isn’t even half way before it turns off. I looked around to find a remedy to the problem but, there was nothing so, now I have a “brand new” Bluetooth speaker I use as a part weight 😔

We purchased this as a birthday gift for our grandson who was turning 13. He had already researched different decks and was only too happy to suggest a present, when asked. He is somewhat of an electronic whiz kid and was thrilled with it and has enjoyed using it for himself, his family and friends. So, even though I personally don't know much about this deck other than it is a solid piece, appears to be well made and has a great sound, I can assure anyone looking for a gift for that someone special (or music lover)--this definitely has been a winner!

I love SOL Republic products, this little speaker is great, it has great battery life, heist mode is great and the sound quality is great, only negative I've got is for the Original price they were charging for it, it should be water proof, but its not.

Have 2 of these and absolutely love them loud and sounds great. Take your music anywhere.

This product is so great, its effectively used by almost everyone in my household. The audio is great and even though it isn't the loudest speaker in the world, it wins me over with the fact that it can pick up a signal from great distances. The fact that it can connect to multiple phones at once also makes it a great party accessory. Definitely worth the money.

Sound quality is good when using it in a noisy commercial kitchen. The Bluetooth signal extension is phenomenal. I can keep my phone in my pocket and walk around the kitchen without signal degradation.

The value of this product is very satisfying. I spent only $55. The sound is great indoors, the outdoor mode gives you a good boost. For the size, the bass is better than expected. If you listen on full volume the power doesn't last as long as expected but this thing fully charges in about 30 minutes so that is a minor draw back. In heist mode, each user that connects gets their own color when the SOL logo lights up so you know who is the 'dj' which is a feature I didn't know about until I used it. Bang for your buck, try it out.
