this is the best washer and dryer we have ever owned. i have them stacked (with Frigidaire STACKIT4X Stacking Kit) and since added a folding table / laundry cart to the side. very quiet even when both are in full spin...this steam feature is probably the most useful (compared to some other brands) because you connect a cold water line (Y adapter included) to the dryer for the steam instead of having a pull out reservoir...the only complaint i would say is with heavy bedding it doesn't always get it on the first try, but then again it does better than the previous dryer... we also really like the sanitize mode which heats the already hot water, and the modes are very descriptive i.e. pet bedding, stuffed animals, mixed load... etc.the washer is VERY heavy so make sure you have 2 people

I've owned this dryer since May 2014 and have had major issues with it. Within a few months, it had to be serviced 3 different times. The repair techs told me that the parts are incredibly cheap - weak plastic, breaking all of the time. After repeated service visits, the machine is having more issues. It's leaking water, water is building up in the display and it's not drying clothes. Fixing it will cost half the price of a new machine. I'd advise avoiding this dryer at all costs!

I purchased this new Electrolux washing machine and was excited to use all the features! Installation cycle failed and it took 9 days for their service tech to even look at it. It failed right off the assembly line and was not repairable )major electrical problems). After 20 days, having to go to a coin laundry 2 miles from my house, I gave up on their poor service and purchased a competitor brand. Do NOT waste your time with Electrolux or this washing machine. Check out their website reviews and there are other "installation cycle" errors.

what a piece of junk. I purchased this washer and it has broken down after 1 year and requires a $600 repair. The company will not pay for this repair. Never buy electrolux.
