Have the customer unplug the router from power for 20 seconds. This will usually resolve the issue. In some rare cases where the home router is very old model there can be a compatibility issue with the router. All our gboxs come with a dedicated support email address. We highly encourage customers that are having any issue with their gbox to contact our support staff. Most issues customers have can be resolved by a tech over the phone
- It is very important that the customer first verifies the gbox is connected to their network. By going into the android network settings there they can verify if the gbox is connected to their network. In very few cases even if the gbox is connected to the network it still is unable to see the internet or the download speed is too low and in these cases none of the apps on the gbox will work. On the gbox we include a speed test to check the internet speed of the box. The speed test is very good troubleshooting tool. Running the speed test will give some very important information. If the speed test gives a network communication error then we know the gbox is not seeing the internet and if the download speed is very low then the gbox will have a difficult time streaming any video.
