Bumco Diaper Cream Spatula (2-Pack) - Flexible Silicone Baby Butt Spatula

Love the BabyBum Brush! I have a 2 1/2 year old and 8 month old, wish I had this when my toddler was a baby. Here's the benefits: 1. No more need to stick your fingers where the sun don't shine. Some may say "what's the big deal, why not just use your fingers to apply?", to that sentiment I say "why use utensils? Just use your hands to eat". It's neater and more sanitary. 2. Every baby becomes a wiggle worm when trying to change their diaper. Before I had the brush, I felt like I only had one hand free to handle the little wiggle worm to keep him from grabbing things, rolling around Etc. because I would have diaper rash cream on the other hand and didn't want to smear it everywhere. Now I just set down the brush and have two hands free for wrangling! 3. I don't have to spend as much on therapeutic hand cream! And here's why: before I had the BabyBum I would wash my hands after every diaper change that included diaper rash cream application. In the cooler/drier weather months, by the end of the day my hands are dry, raw, cracked and painful. With BabyBum, hands stay clean and I just use a baby wipe or wash the brush to sanitize. I would highly recommend this product. Also, I did get the dual pack so I would have one for my daughter and one for my son. they store perfectly in my wipes box along with my diaper rash creams/ointments so I've got everything in one container. Doesn't get much better than that!

These are genius! No longer have to get diaper cream on my fingers. The shape and texture allows for a smooth application and easy to reach the harder to reach areas. No more scrubbing to get diaper cream out from under my fingers nails!

I read the reviews. I thought about it. I ended up purchasing one in yellow. Why not, right? I'm planning on using cloth diapers but my baby was born a micro-preemie and the cloth diapers didn't go that small and I got this tube of heavy-duty diaper cream from the hospital that was thick and thoroughly gross because it had the potential to get everywhere - especially when baby decides to kick around spontaneously. It would wash off eventually, but you also ended up wasting some. The little spatula is made of soft silicone. I only needed to put on a small amount (maybe the size of a gum drop) and I would spread it evenly across my baby's bum (she's still small but should be big enough to wear those cloth diapers soon!). It was quick, easy, and spread like a thin and even layer of butter on soft bread and you can wipe it clean with a wet wipe if there are any residuals. I prefer to wipe the excess off on the diaper though and once in a while, I would wash it off with soap. I also love how it stands up on a suction cup. I put it on top of my book shelf so the suction isn't great, but it stands tall and proud. My opinion now is that I love it. Pricing's a bit steep in my mind but I use it a lot, it helps me save on diaper cream, and I don't have to spend 5 minutes just washing my hands after every diaper change so I guess it's worth it.

The package contained two mini brushes both in their own respective clear travel case. Mini Brush: The mini diaper cream brushes are mini versions of the original (which is also awesome). Just squeeze/scoop diaper cream onto the head of the brush, wipe baby's bottom, and grab wet-wipe and wipe off. So easy to use, and it saves you the hassle of getting your fingers (and more importantly under your finger nails) messy with cream. This product isn't necessary, it is more of an affordable luxury, but I love it - I only wish this was around when my first two littles were babies. COLORS: The colors are vibrant, I ordered the pink/blue (I have the original in orange and it is also bright) and the colors are true to the photo. SIZE: The size isn't as great to quickly apply diaper cream as the original size, but this is a minor inconvenience to spend a few more seconds to apply the cream. The brush is approximately 4" long. TEXTURE/STRUCTURE: `Texture is soft and the top is bendable but sturdy enough to apply the diaper cream (basically not too hard as to make applying cream difficult, nor too soft and bendable as to make it useless). OVERALL: I prefer the original size but for the price and travel-ability this is a great product. Saves a lot of energy scrubbing under your nails to get diaper cream off after applying it to baby's bottom. Case: I love that each brush comes with its own case. The case is sturdy clear plastic and holds one mini diaper cream brush. There is a ring on the case to attach it to bag or elsewhere. The case was rather difficult to open, the latch on the side is not easy to pry up. I do keep my brushes in these to keep it "clean" from wherever I throw it (drawer, diaper bag, counter, etc.). I thought this was rediculous the first time its existence was mentioned. Now that I have been battling a diaper rash with one twin and using preventive creams with the other one, the baby bum brush is a valuable tool. I found the 2-pack perfect for my twins. I'll have several diaper rash creams to review here soon, but I used this with triple paste, destine, boudreax's, Burts Bees and a Walgreens paste (as I said it's a battle) and the brush truly does make a difference. I'm spending extra time removing the cream from my hands. I can just use sanitizer or spray after a diaper change. With twins that's less time spent listening to my babies cry because they want a bottle, or comfort or goodness knows what! There's no more cream in my hair, on my clothes, their clothes or my oranges (That was the final straw...didnt clean all the cream from my fingers nails, peeled and ate an orange...ate about a 1/4 teaspoon of boudreaux's cream...well it's supposedly all natural). I simply sqiurt (tube) or scrape (tub) some cream onto the spatula and apply it thickly to my babies bottom. When I was using my fingers I would scrape or squirt 2X, with this spatula...I'm using one pass. I am one more person who agrees that this tool will save thick product. I have not used it for a more oil based protectant like angel baby, earth mama bum cream. I use so little of this product with my fingers, I worry I would waste product with the spatula. If you are looking for a unique baby shower gift the mom-to be doesn't even know she needs, a way to simplify your diaper change routine or if you are thinking..."I don't need this, it's silly."...trust me you need it, want it and should try it. I battled diaper rash for 3 days before I bought it and another 3 before the box arrived. I can honeslty say this product made a difference and has earned a permanent place on top of my changing table.

This product kept popping up on my recommended items for my registry, and I had seen it at BabiesRUs. When I saw it I thought it was ridiculous, like why could you not just use your fingers -- for free? I decided to read the reviews and they all were the same -- "I thought this sounded ridiculous, then one night we had a blowout disaster and so I ordered this product and it changed my life." So I decided to order one, and I have to say I am a believer! I don't have to worry about getting cream under my fingernails or trying to wipe off my hands before I pick up baby. The suction cup keeps the spatula from getting product everywhere, and the cream wipes off with a standard wipe (although I bought some antibacterial wet ones to clean it in the mornings). I bought one for my sister as well and she is also a believer. This will now be a staple in any baby shower gift I give in the future. The only thing I have to say about my Amazon experience is that it is much pricier to buy on Amazon. I recommend going to your local BabiesRUs and buying it there -- it's only $6.99 instead of $9.99, and they usually have a lot in stock!

This is a complete game changer. My friend had one of these and I laughed at her and told her how ridiculous she was. Then my daughter got a horrible diaper rash, she was raw down there (teething poops) and my friend gave me her spare bum brush and OH MY LANTA! Okay so, yes you can use your finger. That’s what everyone has been doing since diaper cream has been a thing. And that’s cool and fine. But not only does this bum brush save the mess and the cream from getting under your nails, it’s so gentle on your baby. This tool just absolutely helped me and my daughter out with her rash, I could apply the cream easier, get all the spots and not hurt her. I immediately called my friend, apologized and thanked her for letting me have this and bought two more. *I prefer the mini sized bum brush compared to the large size but that’s just me. It’s small and takes up less space and doesn’t look so much like a kitchen spatula 😂

I don't often leave reviews, but for anyone who has applied diaper cream and felt like you got more on you than on baby, or spent time cleaning the cream from under your fingernails , or changed a squirming baby and felt like you needed a third arm - this product is for you. I was shopping for baby toys on Amazon for Christmas and a picture for this product popped up. Curious I clicked on it. The reviews looked good and the product sounded like something I wanted to try out. I admit I was a tiny bit skeptical that it would do the job properly, but the price was right for a two pack and so I ordered it. The FIRST time I used it I was in shock! I have changed more than my fair share of diapers - I just can't believe I never found this product sooner . There is very little waste on diaper cream because it spreads the perfect amount all of over the desired area. It is a quick cleanup with a wipe and you are on your way. I have one for home and one for diaper bag, but have put this product on my "purchase for every grandma and expecting mother I know!!" With all sincerity, this is the best product! My husband loves it too! Thank you!

Can’t recommend this enough, makes applying cream so much easier especially when you have a child that gets rash and needs an even application
