Our three year old loves eggs. She wanted her own egg cups so bought her a penguin and a parrot one. I was initially concerned they may be delicate but they are quite big and sturdy and she absolutely adores them. Has eggs every morning when she can because of them. Well made and brightly painted so any child will love them.

He goes by the name 'Gerard' and likes it when I smash the top of his head with a spoon.
Gerard is a great breakfast companion, albeit not a great conversationalist (unless you like discussing coral and how much of a nuisance submarines have become). His tentacles mean he takes up quite a bit more space in the cupboard than your average egg-cup and I did once catch him getting jiggy with my Miss Piggy mug, but that's a small price to pay to have some whimsy with your breakfast.

This little tiger will add a sweet touch of whimsy to my breakfast table. All the other available egg cups were a bit staid, or would take too long to arrive. Chance led me to finding this option, which I originally dismissed, thinking it was aimed at children. Seriously, though, how many children these days eat boiled eggs from an egg cup? I’m guessing not many. 😉 Given the free return option, I decided to take a chance. The egg cup arrived very well packaged and perfectly intact, and one glimpse of its playful posture and cute face made me grin—and very much look forward to my next boiled egg meal! Very pleased with my purchase.
