Rugged but lightweight this product is specially made for us to provide a Deep V rubberized mat tough enough to stand up to the rigors of prospecting but thin enough to not require special applications. The overall height of the mat is 150/1000th of an inch and the depth of the grove is 110/1000th of an inch. #-5742

Review: Great mat exactly what was needed and as pictured - I bought this mat to replace the Sluice Fox one that I just bought which was extremely disappointing. This one looks exactly as shown in the pictures and has the deep V-grooves needed to catch material properly. I’m very satisfied with the quality, and it gets the job done. Definitely a five-star purchase! Highly recommend if you're looking mat.
Review: Perfect sluice mat - I used this matting as the cover for my sluice flume. It is very effective at catching any and all heavy materials, even in faster water. I've actually found that most of the lighter flakes don't even move once they're in the mat. The pan picture is of just the top mat being washed out. Keep in mind, this is the expected amount of gold for the day. I also used this as the end section on my mini sluice, a 3 foot long piece of gutter with some matting. It hasn't caught any gold yet, but it catches anything heavy. Black sand, garnet, iron, you name it. The mat is also pretty easy to cut. I traced out my flume and cut it out of the matting in 10 minutes or so. I will be buying more for a recirculating beach sluice.
