does this battery have a warranty? I see several "it died after a few months" comments. can you get a replacement if it stops working?

I'm not aware of a battery warranty. I find that the battery seems to last about 2-3 years. Replacement batteries are available on Amazon.

Is the battery original by Phillips?

Yes. What I received was a battery manufactured by Philips.

What is the "Install before" date listed on the battery label?

Hi there, Thank you for your question. The Install Before date shows until when the battery is to be installed. That's 6 years from the date of manufacture. It is not an expiration date. We would recommend to write the date the battery is put into service on the back of the battery.
