360 Protection - Compatible with Doona Car Seat & Stroller

UPDATE 10/2023: the shade weakens after a few months and it doesn’t hold onto the collapsing shade properly. So it’ll just randomly pop off. We had to buy Velcro strips to get it to stay. I will say it provides a little area of storage for light items at the bottom- which is nice considering the Doona has like no storage space. Living in Southern California, the sun is intense all year round. This shade attachment is amazing. I’ll be honest it took me longer than it should have to install it but once it’s on, we don’t take it off. It’s well made. It protects baby from sun. Couldn’t ask for more!

I read reviews on “off-brand” protectors and became hesitant to purchase after realizing not many were happy with the quality. Those reviews pushed me to purchase this Doona cover to ensure the protector would function properly. I am happy to say it was the best! My baby was happy as could be. I was able to keep him out of direct sunlight and we had zero issues, it fit like a glove on our Doona stroller, it was easy to attach, did exactly what it needed to do to protect our baby and was well worth it. I’m glad I did my research and found something that would 100% work as described, it functions as intended.

A little bit to dark and hard to attack

We purchased this for our Doona stroller and it’s perfect! Protects our baby from the sun and wind while out using the stroller!

This thing has been the best!!! I use it way more than I thought it would. We took my 3.5 month old to California and this came in really handy at the parks to give him a comfortable napping space. If you are debating between this one and the other sunshade extender that doesn’t have the sides. I would definitely go with this one! My baby sleeps so well this. I think it also has the option to clip up the lower portion and just have the shade but I never use it like that. My baby is 4 months now and is easily distracted. So I think I use this for naps pretty much every day!!! At the dentist, at family parties, on walk, at the park, beach, church, store, aquarium the zoo.

I think this is probably the best accessory you can get to protect your baby from outside elements in the doona. Unfortunately, you think it would work better since it’s made by the company specifically for the product. It kept slipping off the sun shade and/or the handle bar, which was super frustrating. It also wasn’t very easy to get on in the first place and inconvenient to put in/take baby out of the car seat. It was an absolute must while on vacation in Hawaii and generally good to have, but annoying to use. Pros of using over just a swaddle would be that the zipper on top allows you to see baby while keeping them relatively shaded. The full mesh/net surround acts as an insect net and can help keep items from falling on ground since it’s tight around the bottoms (but still loose enough that it won’t scrunch up baby’s legs/feet). I want to love this item, but for the price I’m not very satisfied.
