I bought this to use as a grow light for my plants. So far, it’s working pretty well. Very simple setup. My first impression of the clip is that it’s decently sturdy, though I also just got it so who knows how it’ll do later on. The sockets are the size they say they are - I also ordered bulbs, which were an exact fit. I might return to this review and edit it in the spring once I’ve gotten through a winter season with them.

One of my grow light fixtures died the death of a faulty switch. So I needed a new fixture. Not wanting to spend $80 on another lamp, I looked around and found this one. It conveniently clamps onto a shelf (which is great, because I couldn't afford to give up shelf space to another 10" lamp base). The fixture neck is flexible so that it can be positioned ANYWHERE I want it to go. And yet it is strong enough to hold a 23W LED light bulb (if anybody has held one of these bulbs, you know that they are heavy) into a horizontal position. This is not it's usual position, but is placed as it is in this picture to illustrate its strength. This fixture has a nice feel to it, like it was made to last. It FEELS sturdy. It has a convenient on/off switch in its one-meter power cord. And to beat all of the aforementioned properties, its less than $20. A bargain for a well put together unit that does exactly what I wanted it to do. I'm VERY glad that I bought this fixture.

The switch needs upgraded, flimsy, mine stopped working after only two weeks, loved everything else but worthless without a switch!!

seems well built and sturdy down to the supposed "flex" arm that isn't really a flex positioning arm as much as a FLEX BACK arm that is heck to position precisely. So don't let the shiny silver articulated material on the flexible neck fool you into thinking you can just change the potion of this lamp head and it will stay. you have to wrestle with it and wrestle with it and try and try and try again to even get it to slightly resemble where you want it to be. It's flexible, but not truely posstiojnable even though it LOOKS LIKE It would be, the look is just to fool you into thinking that you are buying something that it IS most definitely NOT. otherwise the clamp seems robust and so does the switch and socket.

My second purchase of these. The clamp nicely on a bar and hold my fairly heavy grow light bulbs. Nice product.

I was happy to find this unique product it does not a cover that blocks out the illumination. Instead it's an open area bulb attachment that allows you to have the full spectrum of light once you install the bulb. The clip and the adjustable rod are both very sturdy. I was impressed with the fact that the clip is made from solid metal allowing you to attach to something and not break. Many of the lamps you find of this quality have a plastic clip that does not take a lot of abuse. This one here are used to light a green screen and needed a full spectrum light and this one is perfect for that the idea that it's also flexible allows me to hit the angles I need to have the green screen working correctly. The on-off switch is a solid switches well and if cord and attachments to it seemed very solid. I can see this used in several different applications where something that's going to last a while as needed. In today's market often times it's hard to find a product that's solid enough to use a few times before it breaks. This one here I think will last a very long time and I was pleased again with the sturdiness and how it was made

I will give some context to the title, I was using this as a clamp light for my plants, a temporary use. It worked very well when it was working and it still is holding up. The problem is now IT DOESN'T TURN ON THE LIGHTBULB, I only capitalized that cause I don't want you guys to skip through and miss a key point. I used multiple different lightbulbs that work on other socket clamp lights and even on my ceiling light but to no avail this light ONLY LASTED ABOUT 8 MONTHS. I am a little disappointed since I brought it to college thinking it worked and now I don't have a light for my plants. I don't like to bad mouth companies, I know they try their best to make money but I only give my honest review. You guys might find fantastic luck with your product and it lasts years, so I mean go ahead and try it out it, worked great when I got it and I was stoked but, I don't know the condition 8 months after for you guys.
