Excellant quality and value for money!
Absolutely impressed with the speed it came delivered aswell as the quality and good value of the product! The free underlay I was able to double up for extra cushioning and the lining itself is really thick, durable material. The down side to that just made it very difficult to manuerve and manipulate in to the the pond. (Comparable to moving a wardrobe downstairs by yourself or dancing with the mother-in-law at your wedding...).Once all in, filled up and excess trimmed....Well worth it!!My previous liner leaked only after a few months but I'm confident I'll get many satisfactory years from this one.

Check the liner for holes
I chose this product because it had great reviews and came with a 40 year guarantee. However, when unfolded, it had a seam running right through the middle and a hole. Obviously, this is a massive issue for a pond liner. Tried to cut up the liner and position it so it wasn't a a problem, but it was pointless and the pond started leaking once filled. The whole process of getting money back has also been difficult - Amazon insist that the product is returned - what is the point in returning some cut up liner, when I can just send a few pictures of a bin bag with it in. It also took me Ages to find someone from Amazon to even explain this to; I also contacted the manufacturer who were very little help and said they couldn't do anything about it.

Has leaked for no reason 3 times.
Bought this at the back end of last year but have only got the pond dug and lined in May due to health issues. However, it has now drained itself 3 times in succession altho i can see no apparent leakage areas ot holes. Not sure if these are very durable or not.

HDPE Liners are not Industry standard for a reason!
Don’t make my mistake and be seduced by the 40 year guarantee and low price. I would do your research on how appropriate HDPE is for your pond project before purchasing. My pond setup included a wall skimmer filtration and a biofalls waterfall and unfortunately the materiality of the HDPE does not work well due to the thinness and brittleness of the liner. Most professional pond installers use EPDM rubber liners for ponds as it is thicker, has elastic properties and is far less prone to punctures/cuts from rocks or creases. EPDM properties are required for folds and creating mechanical attachments to the skimmer or waterfall. I have had constant issues with water leakage at the faceplate of my skimmer and waterfall because the HDPE liner doesn’t make a good gasket and no adhesive such as silicone or Polyutherane will sticks to it. Also when it comes to repairing, the only way is to use hot air welding or resin based repair where as if you use epdm you can you use tape and glues. Its too late to take out my liner but if I ever had to do it again I would not have used HDPE and gone for an industry standard rubber EPDM.

It works great
I used this pond liner in a huge raised flower bed for my pond and it works great. I already had some liner, I just needed to attach this to it. The 'underlay' (as they call it) is no more than what I would call a thin weed barrier, I would recommend doubling up on this if you are using it for any other type of pond as it is very thin and would rip easily. Other than that, it's a great price, quick delivery and is working perfectly.

Does it last as long as claimed
Easy to lay out in my irregular pond shape with various depths. Being thin material made it relatively easy to fold where necessary and the pressure of water did the rest. I can't comment on durability because I have only recently installed it. That is why I have left the durability star rating un rated. Ask me again in a years time when it has had a winter of occaisional frozen water.

Excellent value
My previous liner was made of rubber and very heavy to use. So when I received this and could lift it all with one hand I was a bit worried. My pond is hand dug and consists of various depths. I followed the instructions with the liner and cut into strips to ensure full coverage. Then brought in the liner - it was so easy and light but also very strong and resilient. My only slight criticism is due to the unevenness of the pond there is an area that has to have a large amount of creases however I am hoping the planting will cover this in due course. Apart from that it’s absolutely brilliant and an excellent price when you consider it includes the underlay. My last one nearly 15 years ago was double the price.

Great quality
It’s bigger than I thought it would be (but then I’m not good with sizes until I see them for myself!). Ive designed my pond as a wildlife pond so it’s shallow to deep, much easier to create these with liners as you can manipulate the shape and Depth. It’s a great quality liner and my birds are already using the pond to drink and bath from.
