Great product! Drills ice quickly. Have many friends with the same auger and they love it as well!

I am instantly happy with this R1 auger. We drilled 11 holes in 20" of ice without any effort. You just stand there and hold it steady. You can even clear the ice without your skimmer. It has a light to see where you're drilling if it's dark. We barely touched the battery after all those holes and the light indicator on the battery showed a full charge. It is a very quiet auger compared to the gas ones. Honestly it wasn't much louder than hand drilling. We stored the battery in our shelter when we weren't using the auger and we put it in our cooler when we were transporting it across the ice because it's not good to leave the battery in the cold. It's kind of heavy but I'm a relatively weak 36 year old woman and I didn't have any difficulty using it or carrying it. It's not too awkward to hold or carry. I didn't hold it steady the same way my father did when he drilled his holes with it but my holes were equally straight so it doesn't matter how you hold it, as long as it works for you. It's a learning curve, of course, but it is very simple to use and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Works great! Cuts through the ice smoothly and quietly, and the battery has a solid battery life on one charge. Will update this review if I have any issues with the auger in the future!

Was simple to use worked very well in 24” of ice.

I just used this upstate NY last week, what a pro. To be honest I had concerns of enough drilling power, battery lasting long enough, BUT it worked like a champ. Cut quickly and as many holes as needed over two days with no charge. I highly recommend.

This everything as advertised and more. Paid 1/3rd than what they want at local stores. Super lightweight, quiet and fast cutting. Went through 16” of ice like butter. I let kids ages 8-14 use it with ease. So far I cut 50 holes and still the battery says full charge.

As someone who’s been hand-drilling holes for ten years, I’m really loving this new power auger. I haven’t used it to cut more than 20 holes in an outing yet this year and so far the ice is only around 6”, but with that being said the battery has never dropped below a full charge by the end of the day. It’s also been very cold and I’ve been out for 8 hours plus, and it’s worked great every time. Highly recommend

Honestly didn't know what to expect.. went through 16" of ice x2 holes in about 2 min.. would have taken me 10min manually and I would have been tired after.. if you love to ice fish and do it a lot its worth the investment! Take good care of the battery and you won't have any problems!
