I bought another brand of these a few months ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they were affiliated. They were ok. I don't always like using my heat gun so I use a regular lighter. Crimps well, takes about 40-45 seconds to slowly melt down. If you are not careful they catch on fire easily lol.Now THESE. They heat shrink down in about 10 seconds. I literally held the lighter in one spot and it took over 6 seconds to even begin to get it smoking. That was awesome. I went through about 30 of these already and I am seriously impressed with how easy these are to use. Extremely strong as well. For solid wire (Tested on some 14/2 romex) they don't hold solid wire THAT well, but once you shrink it down and let the glue dry, its not coming out.For crimpers, I just used the generic flat block racheting crimpers, any brand works. I find these work really well for plastic and honestly just about everything without changing out crimper dies non-stop.*Side note, even if you completely break through the heat shrink crimping it with a non-insulated crimper, once you heat it up, it will self-seal itself. I tested with a volt meter in the spots it sealed itself up and even placed it in a cup of alcohol just to see how well the glue held up. No issues. Would strongly recommend this particular brand. Just too easy to work, especially if you're just using a pocket bic lighter.

Great product at a great price

The concept is great and when you need to use this it's so much easier to heat shrink it. So in general this is a great product to have. My only concern and what I didn't like was it only had 10 of the most common and bit and tons of pieces we'll most likely never use.

Ok , I am still undecided if I personally like the crimp and heat shrink or the heat solder & heat shrink. These crimp and heat shrink are actually great. The hold a crimp well and the heat shrink tightens up and should be a nice water tight seal.
