DAP7079818712 Extreme Stretch Elastomeric Sealant, Iron Stone, 10 Ounces

So this is the best calk I’ve ever used. I’ve used about every DAP calk the this one takes the crown. With a wet finger it doesn’t stick at all. I will say dry times seems to be shorter. This could be good could be bad depending on how fast you work.I hope this was helpful.

This stuff is crazy good! Dries fast and is very elastic! Easily painted. I will never use any other brand or type. This is the one for interior everything. For exterior, use Vulkem 116. Even after 10 years that stuff is still rubbery and stuck like glue. It’s oil based so a little more messy, but it will be the last caulk bead u will run for a long long time.

This product is not as good as “Big Stretch” elastomeric caulk. It has a thinner, drippy consistency and loses volume in cracks as it dries. The write up on Amazon’s website indicates that 2 hours are needed before painting. The label says four hours. I found the product frustrating to use. I reordered more Big Stretch and will have to toss the rest of the DAP product.

This last tube was a little dry. I just used a cup of water when I applied it. Works very well. I am searching for one with a little more “stretch” but for the current industry/technology, one of the best.

Good for places where slight movement is an issue

Does exactly what it claims. I have used this stuff a lot and it's perfect. Verra Verra pleased.

I put some of this on a rage to see how it would hold up and it's been through the washer and dryer numerous times.
