The PERFECT MACHINE for my needs.
I have been trying to rid the crawl spaces under my house of rodents, It’s been a real learning process with lots of different failed attempts. The little buggers just didn’t want to leave. So finally I saw this sprayer device, and thought, “Well it’s still cheaper than an exterminator.”Let me tell you, it REALLY gets the job done. I started by shooting vinegar, which kept the rodents out for maybe 1/2 day, and then moved on to ammonia which worked for a day or 2. Finally I moved on to “Repels All” (which I nick-named “The Stank”) and that lasts quite a while. While this type of spraying is my application of the machine, I would recommend this device to anyone who needs to shoot out a good spray at least 12-15 feet. Very good device. Very happy!

Good value for the price
If you’re looking for using this to spray for mosquitoes or other insects in a small area or two in your yard, this is more than adequate. The half gallon size tank allows you to mix kill product with water and spray in focused areas. I used to have a 2 1/2 gallon larger backpack sprayer they gave me more coverage capabilities and had a broader spray pattern, however, I no longer have that larger yard and I’m just really spraying the front and back porch areas so this is plenty for that purpose. I recommend buying this if you have those small target areas that you want to spray, although , your mosquitoes and other insects are all around your yard so it just takes a little longer sprayer, but it’s very effective and great value for the price. Some limitations are that it has to be held level or the product isn’t spraying out as well. If you angle it up or angle it down too much it stops spraying because of the intake system From the product. Still even with that I’m glad that I bought this and I’d recommend it to anybody that wants to spray for mosquitoes or insects smaller areas of your yard.

Not…worth….it
Returned after one day, it barely did 50 sq ft before battery died and needed recharged. Yes I fully charged it first time I got it, I charged after it died and it barely did 50 sq ft before dying again. Also had to lightly shake it to get it to disperse the fogged solution.

It is VERY loud when you use it, but that's all...
If, for some reason, you cannot use a LOUD machine in your garden/greenhouse to shower a mist of whatever liquid you fill this thing with - Then stay away from this machine. Also, if you are a cat or dog, you will hate this thing for the noise it makes, which can be slightly funny as it blows a good amount of air when it's new and empty. Not a leaf blower level, but more than enough to reach 15 or so feet. If you wish to use it to train your animals, filling it with water for your "squirt" bottle of "I MEAN BUSINESS CAT!" can work too. Bonus maybe??? My wife says "NO!!!", oh well...That's the bad. As far as I can tell, everything else about this machine is up to Riobi's normal quality standards. Mine has never leaked (except from the tip as the fog/mist/whatever will accumulate and eventually drip off). It has always worked when I pull the trigger. And it spits out H2O2 like nobodies business. I also put some bug juice in it (Insecticidal soap, neem oil and water) and it soaks every part of the plant you point it at, both sides of the leaves, so no hiding from this death fog.Why the Four Star? NOISE is it's only downfall, it literally sounds like my car tire inflator except about 110db instead of maybe 80db. You can hear it from a L-O-N-G distance. Is it an issue? I don't know for you. It's possible, that's why I didn't go 5 stars to average out the folks that would just not buy it (and probably give it a 1 because of the noise alone).

Disappointing: Performance was not what I had hoped for my need.
After Speeking with Ryobi, they assured me that is not the way it was suposed to perform. And Perhaps I just had a bad one. If need arises again, I may buy another one becasue of the price and the Ryobi ONE+18v product line innerchangeability.-------------------------------------------Disappointing: Performance was not what I had hoped.+++ PLUS: the battery will last for a full fogging tank fill. [do not fill above the line]- Initially the unit will squirt a lot of liquid and even flood the area you are trying to Fog. So I had to put a pan under the are to catch the liquid.- This also means the vapor droplets that do get in the system are larger and will condensate together faster, i.e., will not stay airborne.- If low on fluid, the fogger cannot pick up the liquid when pointed at a downward angle. As such the fogger works best at a slight upward angle.- My purchase was to fog sanitizing agents into the Airconditioning System. Leaving a wet ducting systems and cleanup.> May be great as an outdoor fogger in gardening, mosquitoes, etc.; but I would not mix different use chemicals in the same fogger that way.> I will by necessity invest in a much more expensive product for my task.I will return the tool as not-fit-for-purpose.

Works perfectly and no more mosquitos!
I use this only for spraying a mosquito barrier around the house. I use straight cutters backyard mosquito solution poured into the machine. It sprays a pretty powerful mist and I can walk my entire yard .38 acers on a single charge. Some users say they are recharging after 10 minutes. Now this might be true but if you ever watch the professionals they are only walking around your yard and spraying top to bottom at the edges of your yard. It has never taken me 10 minutes to walk and spray in a circle around my yard. I spray every single week of full concentrated Cutters Backyard and I have not been bitten once. Even the neighborhood kids start playing in our backyard because they don't want to get eaten up. It's a very woody neighborhood by a creek. Oh and even using the straight concentrate I only use one full bottle a month. So still much cheaper than the paying the $60 a month for the professionals like I did last year and I have less mosquitos because I spray every week.Just one thing to keep in mind when using the concentrate. Normally Cutters says keep pets off the lawn for like 30 minutes. You need to up that to at least an hour since it is not diluted with a water hose.
