Cookie Indulgence: 150 Easy Cookie Recipes

The book is full of a big variety of delicious cookies. It is very well organized, separated into interesting chapters. My favorites are oatmeal and no bake cookies. Some of the recipes are indeed a healthier version. Worth your time!

Another great book from Bonnie Scott! I loved that this book had some very unusual recipes that I had never seen before. I am always looking for something new to make and give out during the holidays and this book is filled with ideas I had not seen anywhere else. My only disappointment was that I recently reviewed another of Bonnie's books and was awed and amazed by the superb photos that accompanied it. I missed them in this book. I like seeing photos of the finished product as it helps me decide if the recipe will fit the purpose I had intended it for. As with all of Bonnie's books, she gives you an excellent forward in the beginning and offers tips and tricks for packaging the perfect holiday gift. This was a great addition to any holiday or just general cookbook selection. Thanks again Bonnie Scott for sharing your creative ideas with the rest of us!

There is a special reason that this book received one star from me. It is not for the recipes which are pretty unusual and I will def. make some of them. This book appears to get stuck halfway through and repeats the same recipes...almost in a loop.Although I gave this book one star, if this problem is corrected, I know I would increase my rating. Again, the one star is not for the recipes and this book's other high star ratings proves it.ETA: I found when I redownloaded the book, the issue was corrected! As I stated above, I knew that I would love this cookbook and I did. This book, not only has some cool recipes, but some really unusual recipes as well that I will LOVE baking!! Recipes are laid out easily and simply for even the most novice baker. For me as an advanced baker, I loved that there were some unusual recipes that I can WOW family and friends with. There is just something for everyone! So, issues corrected, that is why my rating went from 1 star to 5 stars.

Nicely indexed, this book would be great if it were a little better edited. I won't grouse about pictures. A few recipes had accompanying pictures, but I understand pictures for each recipe would add an awful lot to price and file size.I give this 3 stars for the lack of details in several recipes and their directions. And in a recipe for chocolate frosting there is an ingredient I've never heard of. I guess it's some kind of shortening, but what on earth is spry? There's also a recipe calling for 11/1 of some ingredient (I forget what) . Above that on the list is 1 1/2 cup of something else so it's probable the 1 1/1 should be 1 1/2. But there are many recipes with no indication of how much you'll end up with. One or two leave out the oven heat setting or the baking time.In short, this is a book for the experienced baker, or for the novice willing and able to toss out any mistakes. It's a free download. If you're adventurous, check it out, especially the chapter on unusual cookies. Bacon cookies win the prize. No mention of spry there though.

Easy and some are so fast to make.Fl For beginners for sure. There are soany choices for cooking or even for just the frig.

Thank you Bonnie Scott for this collection of cookie recipes. The cookbook is organized by categories and the recipes are easy to follow. There are some recipes in this book my Mom use to bake when I was a kid. I really appreciate those recipes because I remembered the cookies, but not the names of the cookies so I could never find the recipes until now. I've baked a few of the cookie recipes and they were wonderful.The reason I gave this book 4 stars is because I wish there were some pictures in this cookbook. I highly recommend this book if you like cookies.

I didn't check all of the recipes, and decided not to bake this Christmas.Therefore I have no other opinion than the cookies looked delicious.

I bought this book as I love to cook. I am always looking for new recipes and new ideas to improve my own culinary skills. I feel that there are so many different cooking styles, technique and possible combination of flavour that, if you have a passion in cooking like me, you need to have a small collection of recipes. This is why I was interested in this book and why I decided to read it. I optioned for the Kindle edition version, so I can easily read the recipes with my tablet while cooking and not get worried about damage the book, like it was normally happen before.I already successfully tried some of the recipes contained in the book and this is why I feel confident in writing this review. I feel that the book is well written, the recipes are easy to follow and I did not find any particular issue with it. I also enjoyed to watch at the photos of some amazing dishes within the book. I retain that photos in a recipe book are a must, in fact, I feel more motivated to try the recipes and, at the end, I have something to compare my own dish. The only issue I had is to be able to find all the ingredients needed as, sometimes, you need go to dedicated shops.Even my family loved the dishes I cooked from this book and this is the best feedback / motivation I can have. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone who would like to extend their knowledge and culinary skills or techniques.At the moment it is possible to download for free the digital copy of this book so, I feel it is an additional motivation to read it and try something different and new.

Enough variety to satisfy any cookie monster. I must admit I haven't tried that many recipes but the ones I have baked have been appreciated. Some of the recipes are a little bit confusing but I managed to muddle through.

The book is very well organised and written, recipes are easy to follow and give detailed steps and measurements on how to make the cookies. Only problem with the recipes were that they had American measurements but It never stopped me trying them out. The book gives a wide range of cooking techniques and combinations to help you grow your passion for food and keeps you motivated with different styles. I ordered the kindle edition which was really useful as I could use it remotely and make pages larger. Everyone that received a cookie that I made very happy with the results and wanted me to make more. In conclusion this book is a good start for learning how to cook different recipes and giving your family something nice to eat.
