Allen Tactical Battalion

At first I was skeptical of how well my Colt LE6920 would fit in this 38" case. It's fitted with Magpul furniture all around and has an Aimpoint Pro fixed on top. But I was pleasantly surprised! Fits like a glove! With the stock all the way out it was a little too snug but that's not a problem. I just collapsed it a little and it fit perfectly. The pockets on the outside work well. The velcro seems like it could have a little better placement. With my 30rd magazines in the pockets I can't close the Velcro strap tightly because the velcro strip isn't long enough. It's a little annoying but not enough to knock it down to 4 stars. Overall this case is rock solid and super functional. ESPECIALLY for the price.

got this specifically for my scoped .308. The rifle fits in the bag, and both the 20 and 25 round magazines fit in the magazine pouches. This is my second Allen Battalion rifle gig bag, I have the ATACS camo one for my AR15. The hidden secret here, is the carry strap, which makes an excellent sling for a lighter rifle, like an AR15, because it has a swivel hook. Probably not heavy duty enough for the .308, but great for the AR. I use a military carry strap, bought for $5 at the local military surplus store, for the actual gig bag carry strap. Back to the case, seems to be built well, although I won't be too hard on it.. basically, taking my rifles to and from the range. I would guess this bag will last a long time, and be well worth the purchase price. I'd sure like to find a similar rifle case made in America, though, which is why four stars. I'd pay extra for a gig bag like this, if it were made in the USA.

Great bag, fits my 40" Benelli Super Nova with side Saddle. Provides thick padding, great handles, secure anchor points for the sling, even though it is a cheap sling. Has a beefy zipper that has 2 openers. Pockets seem ample and there is a pocket and cinch strap in case to keep weapon from moving around.

Purchased this today and was disappointed. I may have gotten a bad one but the quality of what I received seems sub-par.There was still scrap velcro in the bag when I opened it but the stitching was what surprised me. The pockets look like a mess. They may straighten out when full but they still seem deformed. The pictures on Amazon page and the review pictures don't look as bad as mine do. The third picture shows a closed pocket with a magazine. It might be just me and my perception but I don't like the pockets a bit.I'd also like to be able to open the case flat. I didn't realize it from the pictures but the front/top zipper doesn't allow it to fully open and it flops around on me some.Lastly the shoulder strap location makes no sense to me at all. I'm not military and this is the first soft case I've owned but I don't understand why I have to carry my case with the pocket openings and zippers pointing towards the ground. If I want the pockets/zippers to point backwards and the case vertical I have to keep a firm grip on the strap. This is by design I'm guessing and I'm probably carrying it wrong but it bothers me.I also purchased the 38". It is just long enough for my S&W MP15 with the stock collapsed all the way. So if you like to keep it open a little then go for the large case.I love the design and the look in the pictures but in person the case is disappointing to me. Still it is a well made case and a great price ($38 for me).Edit: All the pictures are upside down for some reasonEdit 2: Raised it to 3 stars because other than the pockets (and the strap by design) it's a great case.

So far, so good. Fits my Benelli M4 with an Aimpoint on top. Really hard to find a shotgun case that fits that odd shape.Bag is well constructed. Not sure heavy duty, but I won't be dragging it through the mud and running it over with my truck. Looks and feels like it will last quite awhile.The addition of an internal strap or two would be nice, but honestly the M4 "just" fits in a couple directions, so there's not movement during transit.

It is an excellent soft case for the price. The pockets are useful and there are straps, with Velcro, inside to secure the firearm. The zippers are decent. I also have a Voodoo soft case with the Molle, super pockets and all, but it is significantly more expensive and often more than needed

I’m happy with the case overall and the quality is good. This is the second case I have in this model. The other one I ordered directly from Allen. This one is slightly smaller and didn’t fit the gun that I ordered it for. I test fitted the gun in my existing case before ordering this one and it fit fine, but not in the one I received. Luckily I was able to swap the rifles and now each one fits: the smaller rifle now in this smaller bag.

Rifle fits perfectly and I like how the strap and muzzle pouch secures in bag. Outside pouches perfect for p-mags

Arrived in a full length box, not folded into a envelope like the competition I tried...and returned. Case just fits my GSG15. (36 long')Stitching looks well done and there is good padding. Long velcro strap and pocket inside to secure your firearm.Recommended.

A good fit for scoped, short rifles and carbines. I would describe it as 'medium duty'.

Great case; highly recommend for an AR type rifle

Excellent bag for the money, good zippers and pockets, holds up very well with my MK18
