Gets the iron out of the water
A very good product that does a great job of getting the iron of my well water.

They product is what it is, not much to say. The price was better than buying directly from the company that sells and installs the device and that's why I went with Amazon.

Easy to apply, stops corrosion immediately. Send more corrosion, it'll stop it. Or sing it. Sing This Corrosion to me. This calcite will stop it. DEAD. No more. You know what I say to people who like having a low pH? I say. "WATER YOU DOING?!

Good deal for the price!
First the pros:Decent price for a large quanity. Seems to last a reasonable amount of time between refills.Does increase PH level.Cons: PH level increased just around 1 point for my use.The takeaway: Reasonably priced, packaged very well, does what it claims to do.Just a little disappointed that the PH level wasn't increased to a higher level.Other than that, I would still recommend the product.

The quality seems just fine. However, I found the same size bag of Calcite at my local plumbing supplier for $20....Extra cost must be in shipping?

chemical for our neutralizer
we live way up in the northwoods so it is so convenient to be able to shop online at amazon for this product and many others.Not much to say about calcite filter media.It is what it is.Just nice to be able to have it delivered right to my front door.I would have to travel many miles to purchase it otherwise.
