I'd never heard of a foot scrubber mat but during a prolonged convalescence, maintaining good foot hygiene became problematic due to the stress involved with balance and bending. So when I saw this mat on a lightning deal I thought "why not?" It has certainly exceeded my modest expectations.Pros-It's attractive. The color is a good solid hue of medium-dark gray. The apple shape is nice, at least it's not country cute. Personally I'd have chosen a geometric shape were it available, but the outward curves do accommodate two feet side by side so maybe the shape shaves some production costs.From the first use, I didn't experience any irritation problems with the bristles being too stiff. In fact, I found them to be just right for cleaning between the toes and scrubbing dry skin from heels without requiring balancing on one foot and bending over. For me, standing on it feels like a good foot massage but other tenderfeet may vary.The suction cups create a sturdy connection to our tile shower floor without a hint of slippage, so I consider the mat shower safe.Adding a few drops of liquid soap creates a car wash for the feet.It drip dries pretty quickly.Cons-None. Other than my already mentioned preference for classic geometric shapes, this was a great purchase. It exceeds my expectations. I can see why some reviewers recommend them as gifts, though I have to admit I'd have been bemused had I opened a present box to find a bristled rubber apple inside.

Cleans bottoms of my feet very well, and also provides a great little massage. The bristle-nubs are very nice, soft, just firm enough to clean well.It definitely doesn’t clean between my toes at all, but gets the back of my toes very well.I use it with this long/handled foot brush that actually cleans top of feet and between toes very well: TOE094 Miracle Foot Brush with Pumice Stone, White, 30 Inch.The bottom suckers work fine for me while seated on a shower stool. I squirt exfoliating gel on my feet and massage it into bottoms of feet with the mat while I wash my body, then rinse off everything. The little mat rinses out easily, and I just hang it to drip dry over the towel bar in back of bath.Overall, a good value that works better than expected based on some of the reviews.

I chose this product on the recommendation of my sister. Both of us have hip and knee issues and can't flex and bend like in our youth. Thus, this purchase. The product arrived promptly, and I was pleased that they didn't overpackage it. It was in its original clear wrap with the packing labels directly on that. When you remove it, there is that inevitable odor of outgassing, but it was not overwhelming. I placed it on the floor of my shower, and even though it is textured tile, the foot scrubber was secure. I used a liquid body wash and easily scrubbed my feet clean. What I did have to be careful of was after soaping my feet so thoroughly, it was slippery, but I took care to grasp the grab bar tightly and lifted one foot at a time to rinse. And luckily, I've discovered my feet are not ticklish. An excellent purchase.

Sticking to base not as good, but if it's not smooth it really doesn't suction to it. Mixed blessing because a textured bottom is needed to not slip but bad because this needs it to be slippery to stick. Catch 22.I figured out to make it work because it really feels good on my feet. It would be nicer if a little bigger. I'm a size 13 and my feet barely fit. But I was also impressed with the soft texture not being too harsh. My feet are sensitive and soft so I've been told but these feel good. I basically stand on it and shampoo hair and scuff my feet. Feels good imo.

does the job as I cannot bend down in the shower to clean my feet...after 2 knee replacements, I cannot afford to fall. I found this...had 2 others previously but they weren't like this green one, it sticks well to bath tub floor, has a big enough surface to clean both feet...feels good under feet....good quality...
