Parks and Recreation: Talking Waffle Button

Look, this isn't a groundbreaker and I have to guess that Aziz has some kinda IP on either the image or quotes because he's not here at all - What the what?!I like the little quotes, they're a bit fuzzy but it's what it is, nothing special.... unlike the show, which was awesome. So, if you like, Treat Yo Self but this isn't high class shopping, this is not as good as it could be but still a decent tiny present amongst others

Much smaller than expected. The sound is quite tinny with an odd selection of quotes. The trivia book contained inside was pretty good albeit short. This helped make my decision in ordering the The Office version.

I was initially pretty excited when I preordered this. Thought it was a great idea! As someone who has been a fan of the show for a while, I figure having a waffle shaped button that would spew Parks and Rec quotes whenever I want them was a great idea. When I received it today, I was not really impressed.Cons:-The waffle and the book is much smaller than I figure it would be (partly my fault, I should have paid closer attention to the specifications).-The quotes were not that great. I wish they had picked some of the better quotes from the show. And there definitely weren't enough of them.Pros:-The design of the button itself is pretty great - pretty solid and soft.-Recordings came through loud and clear.-The trivia book that it came with had some interesting question that might stump some diehard Parks and Rec fans.Overall, I think it'd make a nice little gift for any Parks and Rec fan...but not as much as you'd like to think it is.

So, for $10 this is a cute, fun item for a side table or wherever it ends up. The button is a little finicky and the many of the quotes are far from the characters best or most memorable lines. Also, gonna get a bit political here but it sucks that they're pretending Tom just doesn't exist now.Overall, for ten bucks if I'd buy it again.

Love how fun it is and the variety of quotes! A small enough size to be placed on your night stand.
