For the price this is a solid product. I bought it because it has a cover and is weather proof. It can run up to eight different on/off programs and can be operated manually. The only drawbacks i have found is that it only stores time. It does not store date. So it cannot automatically change for daylight savings time and it cannot be programmed for dusk/dawn. It is simply a digital version of the classic motorized dial with pegs. The other inconvenience is that to turn it on or off manually, it must be taken out of auto mode. I am using it to control UV lights in an outdoor pond and it would have been nice to be able to manually turn the lights off without taking it out of auto mode. But an easy solution... I just unplug the UV light when servicing the light. None of this is reason to remove a star. It functions exactly as advertised and is priced appropriately for its capability.

Really well built and easy to use. I used it to control the block heater on my diesel truck this winter so the heater doesn't waste energy and run all night. I turned it on ~3 hours before I leave for work in the morning and it was perfect. Also has a rechargeable internal battery so doesn't lose programming or time if you unplug it to move it, which is AWESOME for a timer of this price point. I've seen more expensive ones that can't do this.

This timer works as it should, and I especially like the variety of settings it has. Some have complained about the instructions being difficult, but I had no issues with that. It helps to read through all the instructions first before you try working with it, just to get an overall feel of how it works. It was easy to program, and has been working great for a few weeks now. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to deduct a star for the power cord. First, it is very short, only about 6 inches. Second, it comes curved like it shows in the pictures, and it is very stiff, so it's quite difficult to straighten it out if that would work best in your situation. If the cord was longer and more flexible, I would give this 5 stars. Based on its functionaltiy and ease of use, I definitely recommend this timer.

This timer is awesome. It's built-in battery (self-recharging when plugged in) means you never lose your programing. It also means, you can sit comfortably in a chair and program it (very simple and mostly intuitive) in comfort rather than hunched over in some uncomfortable position because you had to plug it in while trying to program it and probably in dim light. I've used several of them over the years and found that even when packed away for 11 months, the programing is still available and ready for the unit to be plugged in. I also appreciate how it has two plug-ins for lights (etc) so you don't necessarily have to create an octopus of multiple plugs right away. I've used them in driving rain with winds literally up to and exceeding 60 mph and have never had a single problem with the timer (though the Holiday light string connections would occasionally short out until they dried the next day). I wouldn't use any other outdoor plug-in timer for any of my future needs. They're great indoors as well if you can locate them where they aren't visually a problem, but you can add them to an extension cord to locate them out of sight if you prefer.

I love Christmas!! I have lights all over my house and property. My husband tells everyone you can see my lights from space! Timers have been such a pain in the past! They never turn on and off when they are supposed to! It was so frustrating!! I researched and loved the reviews on these digital remotes and at first I bought 3 just to experiment with my lights down by the barn, which is a quarter mile away from my house. OH….MY….GOSH!!!! TOTALLY changed my life!! I immediately bought 4 more to accommodate ALL my outside lights!! I had the timers set for different times during the week…weekend and even had an early morning time! Worked perfect!! No more staying up late until the lights needed to be turned off…or having to turn them off early because I wanted to go to bed early. No more having the lights off while we were gone or having to have them on early because we wouldn’t be home. And having them on during the early morning hours but not all night was an added plus. I just programmed the timers and that was it!! Finished! It’s the little things in life and these timers were my favorite find this Christmas season!! I will never ever be without them again!! Oh, and if I wanted to keep my lights on all night like for Christmas Eve, you just change it to Manuel on and they stay on. And then you put it back to auto and they resume what you programmed. Awesome!!

I am very satisfied with this outlet. I have programmed it to start the heater in the chickencoop 6pm till 6 am. So far has been working super!!!! It is a heavy duty, no noise at all, price was really good for what it offers. Easy to program.

This timer is awesome. I can set it to go off every day,mon-fri, or only a certain day. I use mine on the monday-friday setting for work as it gets cold in the winter and it helps jump start my truck for the cold(plugged in heater block). It's very easy to use and has a back up battery so when you unplug it or it accidentally unplugs itself you don't lose your settings

Buen producto. Ya tengo varias semanas usándolo y ha funcionado bien. Es fácil de programar. Pero las instrucciones solamente vienen en inglés.

Great timer. Used for our pool pump until the proper timer was repaired. Easy to program and worked great.

Totalmente recomendado, facil de programar, puedes tener varios horarios de encendido al mismo tiempo, me fue muy útil.

Funciona muy bien y muy práctico.
