AXE HEAVEN Electric Guitar Body (GG-224) White

I was doing a charity event with Don Felder and I wanted something cool to get signed. I did a search and found this and it was perfect. Felder even thought it was cool.Great little piece that is very detailed and comes with a case and a stand.If you are a guitar fan and specifically of the SG, this is a perfect piece to have in your collection.

gratefully, it's not as heavy as a real one! Build quality was great.

I bought this because I always wanted one but couldn't justify the expense on a real one (yet). The detail is pretty amazing for what it is and what it costs, but this one came a bit banged up (large chip in the paint) and most of the tuners were askew. Fortunately, the tuners are held on with phillips-head screws which made adjustment possible, if not fiddly. I was also able to fill the paint chip with a paint marker, and while not perfect, it the defect is far less noticeable. I can imagine the pressure to produce these as quickly as possible for the cost involved, so I will not criticize the craftsmanship - perhaps management could create some jigs to aid in final assembly and some touch-up paint for inevitable dings...

This is not so much a review, but a question. Why white? and not the traditional red that Jimmy page is always shown playing. I have a good collection of axe heavens. On this one I'll wait for the right color.

Not my favorite axe heaven, but I dont know if thats the seller's fault, the manufactures fault, etc. Looks like the pickguard was actually used lol not going to return it. Each one is handmade if I am not mistaken so some turn out really great while others sometimes dont. I have returned ones that are not good. 90%+ are awesome!

First one wasnt bad...just had some paint on the pickguard...looked sloppy.Then the lower neck pulled out of the neck pocket.No glue was visible.?Replacement was just a complete mess all around.Not worth having.Shame is,if they were just a little better they would be sweet.
