Best Selling Burlington Leather Storage Ottoman, Brown

This was a little larger than I was anticipating, but it is the perfect size for storing throws in the living room. It will also be handy when an additional table, ottoman or seat is needed. The quality of the piece is very good and it looks great in my rustic living room.

I love it except for one thing, it really skirts the color. Opening the box it looks almost black. The only time you can see any brown is when a flashlight is on it or direct sunlight.....much darker than the photo. Too cumbersome to return for this issue but the company should show more accurate photos AND call it dark chocolate brown and not just brown.

Pros: Stylish, not ostentatious. Upholstery materials seem to be decent quality. Size and height are compatible with medium to smaller-sized family or living room areas.Cons: casters are constructed of paired molded nylon wheels that swivel. The caster’s body is non-metallic. The caster strut, whereby the caster attaches to the ottoman chassis, is a threaded metal bolt measuring approx. 8mm dia. There are four caster assemblies on the ottoman. Each is mounted at the ottoman’s base, near each corner. Lack of more structurally rigid materials in the caster bodies allow too much flex of the nylon material under reasonable loads. This resulted in a relatively brief elapsed time between purchase and failure of one of the casters of our ottoman.Suggestions: modification of the caster materials and design to provide a more reliable rolling base.

If you have the space for this well-sized ottoman, go for it. Comfortable to sit on, with a tray it can be used as coffee table. The extra storage is a very welcome for blankets, pillows, and clutter - fast tidying the living room :). The unit has two hydraulic hinges and opens and closes easily without the lid banging onto the bottom case. The wheels make moving the unit easy, which helps for vacuuming under it. The only issue that we have is that at least one of the wheels, better two of them needs a roll-lock or brake handle so that the unit is not moving away unindented, like when you have your legs on it. Since the, to get the wheels are easily installed by screwing-in, I will check the hardware store for wheel replacements with brake handles. The surface material is easy to clean and holds up well. Note that there are little indentations where the sowed squares are meeting on the top, and dust and crumbs like to collect there, which are, however, easily removed with the vacuum. Would buy another one if we had the space.

I bought this ottoman for extra storage and to give my living room a different look than the coffee table. I love it! The storage area is very roomy and holds my extra throws.

For the price of this piece of furniture, this ottoman is amazing. We'd been needing an ottoman for our living room that wold hold up to our toddler, but something that wasn't going to cost us an arm and a leg. This ottoman covers all the necessary needs while being super affordable. This piece came fully assembled, with the exception of the casters, but those were so simple to put on with the given tools, that it doesn't even count to me. My toddler climbs all over this thing, and it holds up really well to his abuse. It is a pleather type material, so it is not real leather, but I think it still looks pretty decent for being fake. The storage inside the ottoman is ample for pillows and blankets, or movies if that's your thing.It's agreat ottoman for the price!

As with other reviewers, I liked this ottoman but after a few months the stem on one of the plastic casters snapped so now it only has 3 wheels. Will have to look for replacements that fit or may just take them all off.

I liked the ottoman however had to return as the upper piece was off 1/2 in, screwed wrongly, was not lined up. But other than that it was a beautiful ottoman, good quality leather like material, didn't look fake.
