Great bit of kit
Works great and easy to use. I like how it has a body temp and items mode. So can be used for human body and also for an oven for example.Worked since I got it without issue and use it often. Batteries last ages too. Simple but effective and temps seem quite accurate according to the limited testing I've done

It works well for body temp, object surface temperature, in fahrenheith and centigrate (celsius)
I noted one negative review said it did not read correctly, so I was worried, but the one I received works great, I wonder if the user realized you can select both Fahrenheit and Celsius and both body temp or general objects (surface temp). I just use the + and - buttons to change between the four modes. Also you have to know what the + and - mean on the battery compartment cover.

Over 1 degree celsius difference in reading. Inaccurate.
We already have an in ear thermometer but needed a non-contact surface thermometer. My partner had a fever this evening and this thermometer was initially showing a normal temperate of 37.2C and then eventually showed 37.8C. I took a reading straight away with our in ear thermometer and this showed a much higher temperature of 38.9C.A slight difference would be fine but this is substantial. Returning for refund.
