(1 Skein) Lion Brand Yarn Truboo Yarn, Yellow

This yarn has a subtle sheen and a really beautiful hand-feel with a satisfying weight. I'm tempted to use it again for that reason, but very ambivalent as it's such a royal pain to work with.There was only one hook-size I could use without the yarn splitting on literally. every. stitch. 4 or bigger? It split every time. 3.5 or smaller? It split every time. Even with the 3.75 it split more than any other yarn I've worked with. I can't even be sure whether it was the size or the hook shape that made the difference.This yarn is fine if you want a close weave and are willing to go slow and be careful. The end product will be utterly giftworthy. But you'll really have to fight the yarn to get there.There's enough in the skein to make a simple hat or a pair of mittens.

Exactly what I needed for my project. Love this yarn, it's so soft. It can snag really easily on the wrong hook, like a cheap one that isn't perfectly smooth or has a really pointed tip. Works great on my wooden hooks from knit picks.

Gorgeous color, slightly shiny, nice drape when worked. I knocked off one star because it does split easily for crochet and it does have some messy joins. I would definitely buy it again though because it's so beautiful and makes a lovely fabric.

I love working with this yarn. It’s so soft , smooth & easy to crochet. Making summer halter tops. It’s perfect!

I really want to make this yarn work for a crochet project, but it isn’t easy to work with.

The yarn was exactly what I needed, but I felt it was WAY overpriced!

I have not used yet, but it is soft and silky. Look forward to making something.
