Bought this little adapter to give me some flexibility and options, I didn't want to mod my iron and replace the DC jack, this item fits perfectly and can be powered by my HP laptop charger and my dock! happily heats to over 330c for my soldering. Highly recommended!

Worked for me. Been using it on my projector Xgimi Mogo Pro. It does need a USB plug sourse strong enough to power/charge it though (use a Nintendo switch plug). Normal phone charger won't work.didnt have luck with powerbank either but maybe would work if I had one with higher output.

The Concept of using these adapters is fantastic, I bought this for my XGIMI Elfin Projector and it worked well, until it didn't.After a few hours, the metal housing around the USB housing came loose, preventing devices from connecting to the type c socket, after sliding it back into place, the product briefly worked, but failed to function after a few seconds when something once the projector was connected to the DC output (tested using a USB C Volt Meter to verify it was broken).For other people who are unsure about the voltage this triggers, it triggers 20v, not 19 or 18, but may work with devices that use those voltages, such as the XGIMI Elfin (original adapter is 19v but 20v works just fine, it is also a centre positive output, this will hopefully allow you to verify the compatibility of your device with this product if you are unsure and decide to get one for yourself.TL;DRGreat Idea, Compatible with XGIMI Elfin but broken after a couple of hours.

A terrible shopping trip I thought would solve my laptop's big, bulky adapter that would allow me to travel and work with less burden and he would only make me happy for a week and then stop working, whenever it broke down and he stopped working during my working hours so I couldn't finish my hands I'm not happy that I have to run back to my heavy adapter!

I use it to help convert my laptop to use the USBC. Ok Google. After taking a knife to some of the black rubber on it, it also works for my Ember coffee mug!
