Pipe Cutter Heavy Duty 3/16''-2'' OD with Deburring Reaming Tool

Works like a charm. I needed a pipe cutter to shorten the height of some small wire racks so it could fit under my computer desk. I needed the space to store 3d printer filament. The rack is stainless steel and I was uncertain if the versions in the local stores would cut the pipes. This pipe cutter cut through the pipes like butter. It was less than a minute to cut through each of the pipes. Tightening the blade mechanism was very easy. Note at this time I used the big cutter not the mini cutter even thought the mini would have fit perfectly for the small pipes. Given the quality of the bigger cutter I have no reason to think the smaller cutter would be anything other than perfect. I love the fact that the packaging can act as a tool organizer for my upright tool chest. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Does the job, reasonably priced . Used for cutting Closet Maid rods, made the job very easy .

Needed a tubing cutter to handle up to 1" and this one looked better than a different one I had ordered a couple days ago. The first order worked but not well on 1" so this one got put to the test. It cut the 1" PVC like butter and left a very nice, square end. It even came with an "inside/outside" reamer to clean up the edges of the tubing after the cut and that worked very well too. This thing is very rugged, fits 1 1/4" PVC's OD well and cuts it very square as well even though it's intended for metal tubing. Now, I tested it on some copper, steel and aluminum tubing scraps I had laying around (up to 1" size) and it cut the metal like butter. Even though it isn't cheap, the rugged construction makes it easier to use and it cuts all the sizes and types of tubing I need it to so IMO it's going to be great to use and if I ever do manage to break it, I won't hesitate to order another one, even if they should raise the price (hope not though).

First time using this tool, so I was a bit nervous if it would be able to cut the powder-coated steel tubes of my crop cage, but this cutter made a super easy job of the task, at a great price. Recommended!

Well made and sturdy. This bad boy should handle anything you throw at it. Feels good in the hand too. Only problem is it might be a bit too big for most spaces to work within. Would consider a smaller version as well. Follow ups: made easy work of thick AC copper pipe recently cut. Forgot how much you get from scrap copper till I just brought some to scrap yard. Was a nice return. So, don’t fret with this purchase. It’s a win win.

I don't get the 1 star reviews. This is a well built tool, I use it to cut bicycle handlebars and it cuts them well, and that is not soft metal. Yes, you might have an issue cutting one type of pipe or another, make sure you understand the limits of the tool and it should work well for you.

I bought this for cutting EMT for a burning man art car. It worked great on three-quarter inch and 1 inch.

I have used this to cut some steel fence posts, as well as some copper and brass tubing for home projects. I used a hacksaw to make the first cut in the fence post, and immediately ordered this after, it is absolutely worth the money. Now I take my sweet time with this tool, cranking it down causes the pipe to pinch in and imagine that'd also significantly cut down on joint and blade lifetime, but it will cut a steel fence posts in a minute or two without working up a sweat, and softer metals are even easier. Definitely beats using a hacksaw. I have noticed that if I keep going in one direction it tends to wander a few millimeters before really biting in to the metal, and that was important to me in a particular case, so go back and forth for a few laps until the blade makes a good groove. Overall, I'm saying buy a pipe cutter,

Prodotto valido e robusto. Consigliato Unica nota, che penso valga per tutti gli attrezzi simili, i tubi che hanno uno spessore sottile, tipo canotti di ottone per sifoni, sono riuscito a tagliarli solo inserendo al loro interno un tubo di legno (tipo manico di scopa) di diametro più vicino possibile a quello interno del tubo da tagliare. Senza questo accorgimento la lama piega il tubo, lo deforma e non riesce a tagliarlo.
