I prefer this more than the P i l o t D r. G r i p or other pens with thick grips. Why?- My fingers can hold the fat hexagon cushion for a while without getting tired;- the soft grip means my fingers don't slide off after a while;- no ink blotches or smears (at least so far);- the hexagon grip lets you remove the lanyard and the pen does not roll off your notebook or table;- it is not weighted (weighted pens help some fingers but not me; those hurt/tire out my fingers).UPDATE 3/25/23: Months later and I still love this pen. I'm on here to buy another one for my desk at work.This pen took some getting used to, forcing me to slow down during the learning curve, but other people can read my handwriting again! Maybe one day I'll once again get compliments on my handwriting. Thank you, Thixotropic!

Oh so happy to have a writing implement that doesn’t have my hands sealed together.

My spouse has arthritis with some deformities in her hands. She uses these with ease. Have purchased before.

Great idea, poor execution. Extremely cheap plastic pressed together, which consequently flys apart.Initially pen tip barely exits tip of barrel, requires adjustment by pushing button end of plastic barely firmly in place.. works better then.. until it explodes again. The neck strap is attached to a piece that is not affixed to the pen, a single drop of glue would do, and so the pen regularly pulls off the strap, the barrel and cartridge and spring and bits go flying. No workie after that.Fit in hand is nice, ink cartridge seems premium and writes well, when it is one piece.OVERPRICED!!!!! If you're gonna price it so high, increase the value!!Fits niche, haven't found many alternatives, but it is pricey and crappy construction.. aside from that...

My dad is 99 yrs old and still does puzzle games. This pen is easy to hold and use. The strap actually makes it easy for him to know where the pen is.
