I compared three different hinges when rehanging my doors:Cauldham Heavy Duty Satin Nickel (these)Kesler Satin NickelKS Hardware Stainless Steel Ball Bearing HingesOf the three, these were the cheapest and the hinge joint was noticeably sloppier than the similarly priced Kesler models. The finish seemed a little better than the Kesler models though. For me, the tightness of the hinge is paramount because a sloppy hinge will allow the door to sag, causing it to not fit in the frame and the latches to no longer align. I installed these in my worst doors, the ones I already had to realign. I did not notice more sag with these hinges than the Kesler ones though, even though the individual hinges were sloppier.One bonus of these hinges is that they come with two screw lengths. Standard short length for the hinge to door connection and longer screws for the hinge to jam connection. The longer screws came in handy where I found that some screw holes in the jam were stripped.If you have the budget, the KS Hardware hinges are unbelievably high quality.
