If your old contactor has a 120V Coil and is rated 40A, 30A, or 25A. This 40A model is a heavy-duty upgrade for lower amp units. Rule: Coil voltage must be exact; Amps can be higher, but never lower than your original one.

Can I use this to control 277V or 480V lighting circuits

Yes. It's perfect for lighting control. The "120V Coil" means you can use a standard 120V wall switch, timer, or photocell to control lighting circuits (up to 600V, including 277V/480V). It works for LED, ballast, and incandescent lighting loads.

Does this contactor support Auxiliary Contacts?
