Not what I expected
Marginal performance as a TV, speakers are weak and require a amplified "surround sound or other amplified speaker system, picture is good but tuner does not pull in well if you are in fringe area, I 1st tried at camp and from that determined I was having antenna issues, moved TV and antenna to city, reception improved but does not match the reception of the $100 115Vac tv I compared it to. I suspect with it being 12Vdc they went cheap on amplification for both audio and signal reception boosting. For the $384 I paid for this TV I AM NOT IMPRESSED unfortunately I could not test it until now and can not return it I would have been better off buying a regular 115Vac powered TV and a 12Vdc to 115Vac inverter In my opinion this works as a monitor basically, paired with a laptop or DVD player, even though it has a built in tuner that may work with a cable or satellite connection it is margianl when paired with a Over the Air (Free) antenna.

Buyer Beware
Purchased this as a replacement for an older model for my RV. It worked fine for a couple of months--except that the speakers are worthless. Suddenly it stopped turning on, whether by remote or the button on the top. I checked the power source: all okay. It simply stopped working. I performed the usual "hacks" to "unfreeze" a TV (holding down the power button to drain the capacitors, etc) to no avail. It's now a $300 paper weight. In my RV, I'm going to switch to a regular AC TV (cheaper, smarter, better).

Lasted a year
Liked good picture, over the air antenna, and run on batteries without converter. It just quit working on antenna (something went bad within the tv and trailer was parked the entire time). Other TV's work fine. Unplugged it to hopefully something may reset but it will not come on at all. Fuses good barrel jack is good and getting power. You will enjoy this TV while it is working, I really liked it.

Stay away
Mine came with a new RV as a very expensive option, $600. Within two months a horizontal line showed up across the screen. I contacted Jensen, they told me to return it to the RV dealer, 180 miles away. I'll be returning it to Best Buy's recycle center instead. Keep looking...
