(ISC)2 CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Official Practice Tests

I just passed the CISSP and found that this book did the most in preparing me. Everyone is different with various backgrounds so I cannot speak to what others say, but in terms of speaking from my experience I would say this book moderately prepared me for the test. I read every chapter and did all of the exercises at the end of each chapter. I also used the official practice tests book and activated the online Wiley questions from that book. Definitely practice questions and do a lot of them. Do not just memorize the answers but understand the logic behind it. In addition, I read the Syngress book "11th Hour CISSP 3rd edition", though it is getting out of date, hopefully they update it because it is a really solid reference book. I took notes, writing stuff down helps. Studied for 5 months and did no cramming. If I can pass it, then I know you guys/gals can pass it. Just do the work and do the time. The reason I typed all of this was because the most open reviews really helped me in purchasing the write materials to help me pass along with coworkers who also passed.

Using these practice tests after watching the CISSP LinkeIn Learning videos helped me pass the CISSP test like a breeze. The affordable price and the fact that you can use the Online Practice Tests by getting access to the online format through Sybex (details in the book) makes it a no brainer. Highly recommended, buying this practice questions book will give you access to the Sybex's online practice test tool which is really convenient as I can answer the tests via the mobile app (Wiley Efficient Learning) as well. I had bought this book 1 day before my exam day to answer as many practice questions as possible, I felt that it really helped me as I did not get the chance to study the official study guide book thoroughly, however I still managed to pass my CISSP exam on my first try, thanks to the numerous practice questions I completed!

The questions help ensure you know the material. The real test is no match for this book. Prepare with as much diverse tools as you can put your hands on.

I used just this book, the accompanying CISSP Study Guide and Mike's weekly preparation schedule to study for my exam. I took the exam on 01/18/2022 and passed on first attempt. This book has plenty of chapter questions to test your knowledge. It also has 4 full-length practice exams to test your exam preparation.All the best.

Highly recommended! I bought this after going through Thor Pederson's Udemy class... this is a full textbook of questions and answers, BUT.... in the beginning of the book, there are also instruction on how to access the complete online platform to go through these questions. SUPER USEFUL!

I went through the practice tests before taking my CISSP-ISSAP. The ISSAP test questions are different but CISSP skills are definitely needed to think through the ISSAP questions. This will make sure you're thinking like a CISSP before your exam.

Kurz darauf habe ich entdeckt, dass (ISC)² auch eine eigene Lern-App anbietet, die meiner Meinung nach deutlich praktischer und interaktiver ist. Für mich persönlich hat sich das Buch dadurch als nicht unbedingt notwendig erwiesen – dennoch ist es gut geschrieben und eine sinnvolle Ergänzung zur Prüfungsvorbereitung. Ich freue mich, es in meiner Sammlung zu haben, auch wenn ich im Alltag lieber mit der App gearbeitet habe. Für Lernende, die gerne mit gedrucktem Material arbeiten, sicher eine solide Wahl.
