I love this stuff
I hate ace bandages. They never stay in place, eventually bunch up and some how can get tighter in an area after bunching up to the point that it's giving you more pain than the injury.I am no stranger to sports injury, but I always bounce back. I've been through so much therapy, for some issues that I tend to repeat, I try to resolve it myself first before seeing a doctor. My chiropractor introduced me to this tape and I bought my first role from her. The injury I bought it for was stabilized enough using the tape and with her adjustments, everything got better. No orthopedist needed (I try to stay away from them because whenever it comes down to I can't avoid seeing them, it's either traction, which I like, or surgery, which I hate). So I try to avoid them like the plague. Let me make myself clear. I know my body and when my injuries are bad and need immediate doctor attention vs. let me see if I can heal this one on my own. The majority of the population isn't like this and if you are wondering if you should see a doctor for an injury, the answer is yes just because you are asking that question. Don't try to be a hero; I've seen some crazy injuries in the emergency rooms that were made worse because people waited days before seeking help.Over time, both of my knees have been operated on due to meniscus tears. My left knee was starting to show signs of one again and I was making it worse because the knee was getting increasingly unstable. The more unstable it got, the higher the risk I had of tearing the meniscus more. Having been taped up so many times before, I taped up all the parts that work the knee as they work the knee. It was almost like a brace but better because I could tend to each muscle group separately to support them as they should support the knee. By doing this, it makes the muscles work in the specific way they are supposed to work to support the knee. I don't know why, but sometimes, maybe due to poor habits or unnoticed injuries, they don't exactly support the knee correctly anymore. The tape is good for 5 days. You can shower and soap it up. After two weeks of this, I removed the tape for the last time and lo and behold, I had one stable knee again :-) Ace bandages cannot do anything like this, but if you aren't getting better at all (staying the same or getting worse) or if the pain is too much to bear at any point in time (even in the beginning... put the tape down and dial your doctor), this tape does not replace a doctor. Even in the experience I share above, if after 2 weeks, I still had pain, I would be on the phone making an appointment with my orthopedist without hesitation.Oh, one more thing, there are videos on web sites on how to tape up injured areas of the body. You can look up "spider tape video" or "kinesiology tape video". You should look to see if there's a video for your injury. Most of those videos are for precut tapes, but after a few applications, you get the idea of how it should be done.Always remember, your doctor knows best. I'm just a little too experienced with some sports injuries, that I know how to take care of those by myself now.

Easy to use
I use this tape to lift my belly to help with my prenatal back pain and it helps. I’m sure if I knew how to properly apply it it would be better. I didn’t shave and I kinda wish I did but it’s not too bad taking it off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take it off dry not after a shower. The hot water makes the adhesive stick to your skin when you remove the tape and it’s hard to get off your skin. But if you take it off dry it peels right off. I left it on for 2 days I’m sure it could last longer than that. I shower with it on ans wash it like I normally bathe.

Good tape for round ligament pain
I am using this for my 24 week bump as I am having round ligament pain. I have very sensitive skin and this didn't irritate it at all, you have to make sure you don't have any lotion or oils on your skin but it works great for my pregnant belly.

Great quality
I bought this to help with my pregnancy pelvic pain. It’s like taking the pain out with hands, was such a relief for me. In the beginning was great because didn’t gave any rash or itching (I try KT tape and with one day of using had to take out, so itchy) but after a couple weeks using it started to irritating my skin and I had to stop using.Besides that for sure I recommend this brand! Was a great relief for my pain.

Gave me a rash. :-(
I think this tape probably does exactly what it's supposed to, but it made my skin break out in a rather furious rash. Until then, I was happy with it, and I felt that it helped relieved the pain in my shoulder. I watched a lot of youtube videos to learn how to tape for shoulder pain, and even though it was a bit tricky, I got the hang of it and was happy with the results. I actually got a night's sleep without waking with incredible pain in my right shoulder, and that hasn't happened in well over a year. But then the rash showed up so I removed the tape, and haven't tried it again. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I was surprised when I had a reaction to it.To remove the tape I used an extra amount of shower gel, and let it and the running water do the work. I was able to painlessly and easily peel the tape off, going about it slowly and gently.

Works, but could be better. Olive oil will help release the glue
Tape like this always walks the line between being sticky enough to stay in place but not so sticky that surgery is required to remove it. This tape doesn't really pass the test. If you put it on too close to the workout the sweat will cause it to come off. If you leave it on too long the the glue will stay on your body after tape comes off. While the tape is on and stuck its good but it can be hard to get off. The best thing to remove the tape is wet it on the shower or with olive oil.

Great for pregnancy!
This product has been a lifesaver during the now end of my pregnancy. I'm on my feet at work and had a hard time with a belly band being comfortable. I used this and cut to the size I need and works like a charm. After 4 to 6 days I remove the tape, it does leave behind a weird pattern on my skin but it does not hurt. It is a must have for pelvic pain.

Great product for the price
Have used it a couple times now on my husband's shoulder. Adheres well to the skin and lasts atleast 5 days on his shoulders. Stretches well. He says he notices a big difference with it on. After reading on Spidertech's website, the tape should be left on til it falls off which is usually 14 days. Would highly recommend having a very warm shower to remove the tape as some of the glue does stay behind. The edges do fray along the tape as you wear it but doesn't seem to hinder the product
