68512 DC Comics Cast 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle, Multi-Colored One Size

Started the outline and noticed the misalignment and thought I had missed a piece kept going and thinking it’ll turn up.

This puzzle is made in two different machines and will NEVER fit together properly and I was refused a refund

This won't show as a verified purchase for me since this was bought for me as a Christmas present (It was on my private wishlist though). This turned out to be disappointing in a couple of ways which really overshadowed how keen I was to get this puzzle. As can be seen in the pictures I posted with this review the entire body of the puzzle is entirely only the standard figure 8 shaped pieces, this can make spotting mistakenly placed pieces hard to detect at times especially on a comic book style image where there can be large areas of flat colour with no variation to tell what is incorrect. As it turned out my copy had some sort of production fault which meant I ended up having to build the puzzle in 2 parts because the one half does not fit the other half, almost like I got 2 halves of 2 copies of the puzzle (this can also be seen in the drastic colour difference of the cape in one of the pictures I've added.

It took myself a while to complete but had to force the middle pieces in as they wouldn’t fit and the colour is off so doesn’t match exactly and it’s like that all the way down the middle

When creating the edges - they don’t join up so I am not convinced this jigsaw is possible. Will persevere but may have to give up and return. See the photo and consider before buying.

What an abomination of a puzzle. I've been doing jigsaws for over 50 years and this is the worst one ever!! Clearly manufactured in 2 halves and they don't fit! My 2 halves are so far out, that you can't even fit them together! Will never ever make another Aquarius puzzle, even if it were free!

Non faccio mai recensioni, ma questo articolo se la merita. Avevo letto le recensioni e dicevano (confermato da foto) che i pezzi erano tutti uguali, della stessa forma. Ad oggi il puzzle invece presenta i pezzi tutti diversi, come tutti gli altri puzzle di altre marche! Ottimo! Anche i colori vanno benissimo!

Même problème que chez les autres, des pièces qui correspondent pas et le puzzle est décoloré a plusieurs endroits. A fuir !

I've been working on this for almost a month in the weekends and sometimes after work.. It's definitely challenging but of your into puzzles and superheroes you'll love this!

Ich habe das Puzzle lediglich gekauft, da es kein anderes mit einem solchen Motiv gab, die Qualität der Puzzleteile ist nämlich sehr schlecht. Alle Teile haben die selbe Form und man hat kein Feedback ob das Teil richtig sitzt, daher passen zum Beispiel viele Teile in das gleiche Loch, was es unmöglich macht bei gleichaussehenden das richtige zu finden. Manche Teile die zusammen gehören müssen, passen nicht zusammen, die Qualität der Teile ist also sehr schlecht was den Spaß beim Bauen einschränkt. Teile haben bei mir nicht gefehlt. Wenn man nicht unbedingt nach einem Puzzle mit diesem Motiv sucht, Rate ich von Kauf ab.

Last summer we did the 3000-piece Marvel puzzle and was disappointed in the picture itself (which was a photoshopped collage done by different artists), the 99% similarity in puzzle piece shapes that made it almost impossible to reliably piece together large areas of the same color, by the disconnect of images between pieces here and there, and finally by a missing piece which was very irritating. Also, the box image is the only guide, which was difficult to work off of because of its small size. So it was with some trepidation that we proceeded to the 3000-piece DC puzzle. We found it much better than its Marvel cousin. The picture is a single image so there is better consistency in relative character size, style and appearance. The puzzle pieces were irregular enough in shape that there was no question they went together, or didn't go together as the case may be. The image on the puzzle pieces also aligned correctly 100% of the time and we didn't encounter any sort of "line" through or across the image as others have mentioned. Also, there were no missing pieces. We have two small complaints: As an artistic choice, the artist drew the characters in the foreground with very sharp detail, while the smaller background characters are drawn somewhat fuzzy. And again, you have to rely on the small box picture as a guide for constructing the puzzle (if that is a problem, I suggest finding a poster of this picture to help.) I've read a lot of negative reviews on this puzzle and I can only surmise that beyond personal expectations, sometimes one has to be just lucky in what they receive.
