Honestly I was scared to death that this hoop skirt wouldn't fit. It was a little tight with the elastic which caused the velcro to strain a little but the tie string rectified this concern.Sitting was not a problem at all and I didn't have to do any special adjustment in order to do so.I'm 5'3 and read a review saying it was a little long for short people and I honestly could have cut the last hoop off but because of the length and material of my skirt it wasn't a problem.The material is kind of a plastic/cloth hybrid- think like a thin tent. I didn't have a problem with it especially for the price and honestly it made it feel cooler which helped so much considering I was in New Orleans at the time.In summery, you get what you pay for. Read the sizing. It's good for short or tall people. And the material is kinda cheap but strong enough for multiple layers and cool enough in the heat.

This was exactly what I needed and how I needed it. I was traveling to a film festival with a Bridgeton themed event and had the dress that needed the oomph - but wouldn’t take up all the space in my suitcase. So, I found this foldable, durable, yet lightweight, magic in bag hoop skirt. It came out wonderful! So many compliments! It even fit in the limo and I was able to get in and out with ease.Highly recommend!! I shared how it arrived with directions included in the packaging on how to get it back down to that size.

I bought this for my daughter’s prom dress after reading many reviews. The quality is great. There’s elastic and a drawstring at the waist as well as a small Velcro section. It perfectly filled out her skirt and added much needed structure to an otherwise great dress. She’s not wearing shoes in either photo and the difference in drag is notable. Highly recommend.

If you're above a size 18 pant, this won't fit. BUT....that's not the reason I gave it 4 stars.The material is a touch thin, so make sure you have a layer to go between the skirt and whatever outfit you're wearing. This will help smooth it out. The big pro of this is that the channels are open in case you need to replace the boning (which are metal! This is huge for a skirt of this price) with 1/2" instead of 1/4". This skirt has worked wonders so far for my project!

We wear very heavy outfits to wedding events for my husband’s culture and these are lifesavers!! I wish the hoops were a bit heavier duty but then they wouldn’t relieve the weight of our outfits because they were too heavy themselves.The hoops carry the weight of the skirts, allow for airflow between your legs because lord knows no one wants sweaty crotch vibes at an elegant event, makes your waist look tiny AND gives your the skirt swirl effect of your princess dreams!

I ordered this with high hopes that it would be perfect. I opened it to wear Halloween for a huge children’s event where my husband and I dress up as beauty and the beast. I could not use it as the entire bottom hoop was unraveled. Extremely disappointing. It would have been perfect if not defective.
