Easy, economical solution to review content of non-mounted SATA hard drives
This small product performed very well in its task (reading the content of old hard drive data). No issues with function or connectivity. It is well-packaged and well-constructed. Pricing is less than expected! No special software needed. I would buy again, and no trouble recommending this to anyone.

SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter 2.5"/3.5" SSD
Didn't work as plug and play immediately, however I did upgrade my Win OS partition to Win 11. (That was the issue) It clearly states it works flawlessly with Win 7-10. I installed the device firmware update for Win 11, it functions properly but I'm still not reaching maximum transfer speeds. on both 2.5"/3.5" SSD drives (my problem for not reading OS compatibility in description) On the Linux partition it worked as plug and play immediately. Note I do have all repositories enabled on Linux (Main, Restricted, Universe and Multiverse) and my usb settings are auto-mount. Zero issues with transfer speeds on Linux with a 2.5"/3.5" SSD drives.

Very good value for money
Works as advertised. The connection is stable, and the plastic quality feels very good for the price. Very good value for money overall. It’s a handy little device to keep around for emergency data recovery or quick drive backups. Highly recommend having one around.

It Worked Great. Still Does!
This worked really well. I plugged a variety of drives into it and they all popped up fast in "My Computer". I currently have it attached semi permanently to a 2TB 3.5. Would by another.

Order type C, but received type A
I selected USB type C version, but USB type A version has been sent to me. The sata adapter itself is fully functional.

Hard drive data transfer
Bought this to transfer files from my old hard drive to my new computer and it worked perfectly, the old hard drive came out of a desktop so it needed the connector that plugs in to the wall to power it on. Well worth the price, shipped quickly and transferred files in a timely manner.

Compatible for Wii
Works great with SSD connected to Wii, didn't even need the power supply with it for that purpose, but nice to have anyways. Connected up to my laptop and immediately formatted and transferred files. 30mbps was the top speed I got but it's an old laptop and I was transferring from an external hard drive. So mileage may vary.

Worked perfectly and immediately
Worked perfectly as soon as connected to my MacPro desktop. This adapter, connected to 110 VAC, apparently feeds power to the disc drive. Before trying it, I worried that there was nothing to plug into the 10-pin power plug on the 1 TB Western Digital drive. Ran fine with nothing connected to the drive's 10-pin power plug.
