Ferrari of table tennis tables
This table is a work of art. It has to be the most beautiful table I've ever seen. Looks like the Ferrari of table tennis tables. One small design flaw. You need levelers in the middle. My outdoor patio has a bit of a slope. When I use the self leveling on the ends, it makes it sag in the middle. I could not get it level

Very nice table but not worth the extra money
Very nice table but not worth the extra money. Tables in the $600-$1200 do almost everything this one does for a lot less. I do like the 10 year warranty. Ask me in 7 years how I like it.

It's not hype. When you need real play quality on a truly weatherproof table.
I bought this from a local dealer in Torrance CA. My price was a little better than this because it had been out as a demo but was flawless upon delivery. It was A LOT to spend on a table considering my potzer skill level but I do play REAL table tennis with pushes, loops, spin etc. I also play tournament grade indoor tables at two different clubs. The real key here is the 9mm table and the true box section frame that give the table rigidity and density. Having owned a $400 dollar Kettler I can tell you there is no comparison in consistency of bounce. The Corni plays a little slower than a full inch or greater indoor table which for most of us is a good thing but the bounce height and consistency all over the table is as good as any table I've played. Big wheels that roll easily and brakes that really work are both upgrades over my previous Kettler. Ball holders hold about 5 balls on each side. I like having them more than I thought I would. The matte top has no glare and just about the right amount of skid vs. catch on the ball. It's very durable and doesn't scratch easily. I have seen my dealer use a paddle on edge like a hammer onto the table and it left no marks that didn't come off with a little Fantastik on a towel. Folding/unfolding is simple and foolproof. There's a safety catch to keep the halves from crashing down but undoing it is as simple as making sure you're pulling the orange handle until after the table passes through 45 degrees. Then you can let go and control the drop by the edge like any other table. The handle is high enough and takes enough strength that your little ones won't get in trouble. The wheels are far enough apart that they won't likely pull the folded table down on themselves. When I was looking at this table, I didn't think much about the way the net automatically folds in and out of the way. Now, besides the really good play quality, it's one of my favorite features. Without having to touch the net or futz with anything, the net de-tensions itself and tucks out of harm's way. It can't be knocked off or into anything while you're wheeling the table away. When you open the table again the net is ready to go at the same height and tension. Height and tension are set separately at the side posts.I've had the table for just about a year and we use it 2-5 times a week. Sometimes we fold it. Sometimes we don't. Sometimes we cover it (for dust) sometimes we don't. It lives outside and doesn't go into the garage. It has gotten rained on a few times with no effect at all except for water spotting. Everything in the mechanism/wheels etc. are holding up well. Nothing has broken or ceased to function and there's no excessive wear except under the table where two bars cross a little paint wore off just where they make an X. They're aluminium so there's no rust and the spot doesn't show. I just noticed it one day while folding the table. The color of the table hasn't faded any appreciable amount. That kind of build quality and durability is part of what you pay for with this table.Plays 90 percent as well as an ITTF rated indoor table and has proven to be easy to use and reliable. If you're a serious player with some cash who wants a good playing table that is truly weatherproof, I don't think you can go wrong with this table. Oh, and if you're wondering, I've also played on the 500 outdoor table. It's a good table. It has most of the good engineering with smaller wheels etc. but there is a difference in the bounce. I'd say it's 75-80 percent of a good indoor table which is plenty good for even enthusiastic patio/party players but for this club player, I never doubt that I made the right choice in making the step up to the more expensive table.
