Works great on my cast iron

I purchased this kit for my cast iron. This cast iron was not preseasoned and been in my family for a few years. Having a good cleaning kit is very important. This kit works great!

The products work exactly as they say. The weave on the chainmail is a little loose, but still works on basic cast iron crud. The scrapers help allot, and the brush is really stiff and useful. I choose 4 stars because the chainmail was too loose to really scrape off the rust that I was trying to remove.

I thought it was best to clean cast iron hot, but not with this brush. I'm going to contact the seller to see about a return. Maybe it was my fault for using it on a hot pan, but it got misshapen instantly. I've barely used the scraper or chainmail, but they seem all right.Update: Their customer service is fantastic. I was contacted on the weekend and taken care of in less than a day. If you don't use the brush on a hot pan, I'm sure this kit will be great bang for your buck.

Owning and maintaining cast iron pans is a lot of work. The kit makes clean up easy. Still a dirty job, but plans remain rust free, well seasoned and clean.

Works very well. Great value compared to other cast iron cleaning brushes because you get all the extra accessories. The brush has a nice look to it and, so far, it seems durable.

It has worked great especially the chain mesh scrubber, it gets pretty gunked up but, it's easy to wash with dish soap. the plastic scrappers work hell too

The perfect kit for cleaning small appliances such as panini makers, grills and waffle makers! Great with cast iron! Highly recommend!
