Review: pretty much ALL the oils) - I have notoriously dry, sensitive skin, and I've tried everything- jajoba oil, emu oil, rosehip oil, (so, pretty much ALL the oils). I've tried supplements, drinking water, sleeping with a humidifier. None of them have worked like this cream. I am in AWE. I don't remember a previous winter I haven't had dry, flaking skin on the tip of my nose. But this winter, I am ROCKING healthy, moisturized skin. I know it says it's a nighttime cream, but I have actually used it some mornings as well. It is pretty heavy to put under make-up, but for those with really dry skin, you may tolerate the shine on your chin not to have scaly-snakeskin-face after applying foundation. Review: I think it's the squalane - I have been using DHC Extra Nighttime Moisture since January 2016, and it's the only facial moisturizer that I use, day or night. I don't use any other special cleansers or toners (just a gentle soap in the shower). I am in my late 40s, usually wear no makeup at all, and have a healthy lifestyle. However, sometimes I am still prone to occasional pimples. This cream keeps my complexion smooth and clear. I think it's the squalane, which has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. A jar usually lasts me 6-8 weeks, depending on the season. It also has no fragrance. Great stuff!

Not heavy enough for night time
I’m not sure why they call this extra. It’s a bit too lightweight for a nighttime moisturizer and therefore not the heavy duty cream I was looking for. Will use it up but would not buy it again.

Super powers!
I love this stuff! It's a nice light moisturizer that is also great to prevent winter dry skin. My skin feel so much softer since I have started using it. I usually use it around my eyes and laugh lines. Am I the only one that find this night cream prevents/cures acne? At first I thought it was a fluke, but now, if I feel a zit coming on, I will dab some of Extra Nighttime Moisture on it before bed and I swear, it will cure the zit before it even has time to pop out!

started to break out
probably better for mature skin

Sigh, I'm so disappointed in this "intensive" face cream
Oh, I had high hopes for this cream, given I really like the DHC cleansing oil. But unfortunately, especially for the price, the cream doesn't actually intensely moisturize at all...at least not my dry skin. It's so weird, because it feels great going on and doesn't feel drying. But by the end of the day my skin is flaking like crazy, and that doesn't happen with less expensive creams like my Hada Labo and Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre 24-Hour Miracle Creams. At $36.00 I expect much better performance from a supposed intensive moisturizing cream.

A++
DHC products are great and this one is prime. A light application is all you need. It's not greasy and has no odor. Because it's a little expensive I use it sparingly each night instead of slathering it on like I've had to do with cheaper brands. I expect this bottle to last several months at least. I recommend it for anyone who needs extra moisture.

The only good thing is that it did not make me break ...
Makes my face incredibly greasy, without any moisturizing qualities. The only good thing is that it did not make me break out.
