I have been building computers for years and there is always some hardware I don't have or am always running out of. This kit gives me a fine selection of new hardware for my builds.

Absolutely handy to have if you install computer components from time to time and forget where all your saved screws went.I recently used the SSD screws from this set to install a 2.5" SATA SSD in my daughter's laptop into an empty drive bay. I thought I had the very small screws needed but I didn't. I was so glad I ordered this set prior to attempting the SSD installation.

As soon as I read the reviews about people buying new cases for their pc build but screws are missing I was right. This one saved me a lot of time and less hassle

The compact size, 5 inches by 2.5 inches, of the case makes this set easy to store. The legend on the lid with not only the name but also a photo of the screw and its size makes it easy to find the the one you want. Some people complained the lid didn't latch strongly. They must have re-engineered it because mine works fine. Each screw came not only in its own little section, but also in a small plastic bag, so I could just cut each bag and keep the whole bag in the section, so that the different screws wouldn't fall out or get mixed up. The screws themselves are good quality. I bought the whole kit but at the moment there is only one of them that I am using, and some I may never use, but I will always know the exact description of which ever one I use the most.

I bought this in a pinch while working on a project where I planned out everything but the screws I would need. So far, three times, it's had everything I've needed to move forward in my project.

Turns out there are 2 sizes of MB standoff screws, M3 and #6x32. This kit only includes M3 standoff screws. If you're going to call it "420 Pieces Computer Standoffs Screws Assortment Kit" you should include both sizes.

I bought this kit because I needed the standoffs, and this whole kit didn't cost much more than buying standoffs separately. It ended up not working for me, though, because the standoffs here have M3 external threads, but I would've needed 6-32 threads. I ended up buying a similar kit from another seller that has both M3 and 6-32 standoffs.The screws that I was able to use from this kit seem to hold pretty well and there are more screws than you'll ever need. Just make sure you're getting the right kind of screws before you buy.

The more computers you have, the more likely you'll lose screws and stuff as you go along upgrading/building things. This set helps a lot to replace all the tiny things you'll end up losing while dealing with PC builds. Too useful not to have in your PC toolbox.
