are they ok for writing checks

So far every check I have written with these pens has bounced. That’s not really an indictment of the pen but more the fact that I’m broke. Thank you Brandon!

I am looking for the old style ballpoint pen, not a rollerball. are these pens the old fashioned ballpoint style or the roller ball style?

Thanks for your question. It's the new style. I'm kinda like you I wish a lot of things were like they used to be. I use them they the rubber feel and are really light. But remember if you did want to take a chance and try them out and if for some reason you don't like them you can return them with no questions asked. Does this pen have a fast drying "gel" ink?

Hi David, these Z-Grips are ballpoint pens and do not contain gel ink. If you're looking for a gel pen, I would recommend our Sarasa gel pens that DO contain fast drying ink that's tested by an independent 3rd party lab to be faster or as fast as the competition.

Is the pressure that is required to use this pen the same as the regular Zebra Sarasa 1.0mm? I had a hand injury and need to apply little pressure.

Not familiar with the Sarasa 1.0mm. The Z-grip pens require a normal amount of pressure. I do a lot of writing and the pressure doesn't bother me, but I've not had a hand injury so I can't speak to that. To go with less pressure I'd think you need a gel based pen like the pilot G-2 pen. I love the G-2's as well but it's a lot thicker line, which may not always be convenient.
