Ennio Morricone is my favorite film composer. His music really does make a good movie a great one. That is the power of music, to affect our emotions. This concert which takes place in La Piazza di San Marco (St. Mark's Square) in Venice, Italy, is a beautiful production. It is fantastic to see the square at nighttime.Morricone leads a full symphony orchestra with chorus. They perform all the great film scores that Morricone has created over the years. [...]The sound quality of the concert is superior. It is full of images of Venice and there are some poetic phrases that appear on the screen throughout the concert. It's an audio visual production. Ennio Morricone is a fantastic composer. I discovered his music via movies "The Mission" "Cinema Paradiso" , and "The Legend of 1900". If you haven't seen these movies you are missing out on some very good entertainment and some splendid music.

Video low quality, audio very good
I expected something more in the video quality: it's very very poor, it looks like from a low quality DVD. However the sound , the orchestra and the choir performance is at the top

Ennio Morricone Peace Notes
Being a professionnal conductor-arranger-composer for 40 years now, I can appreciate the unique quality of Morricone's work. This concert is something to have in everyone's home, a treasure of beauty. Even for a former Commercial Pilot like me who never really quit music for a venture in the sky.
