Excellent, solid rower - and presentable too
I love my water rower. It's well built, solid and sturdy, easy to put together and it's great to row. The water gives a good feel and great noise, at a low volume. No variable resistance - except that you can add/remove water and/or row harder or faster - but that's really not a problem. I've used it daily for around six months now and it's still squeak-free, looks as good as new.For someone who doesn't have the luxury of a home gym or garage it's also very neat and presentable with a modest footprint. It stands upright sturdily and wouldn't offend visually even in a living room like a chunky plastic and aluminium effort might. As best I can see it's identical to the Waterrower product except in price. There are a few things to be aware of, though not overly concerned about.First, Topiom should be much more forthright about the implications of a water-based machine and especially the algae that will grow in the tank. You must use some form of treatment and normal "drinking water" purification tabs will not be adequate. (I use these, which I believe are recommended by Waterrower: https://www.amazon.co.uk/BLUE-Steriliser-Waterrower-Purification-Maintains/dp/B08WWN5V38/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=blue+ahead&qid=1631445040&sr=8-2). One per month, and no problems since I switched.Second, the electronic gauge/monitor is thoroughly basic. No clever algorithms here as far as I can work out, just 6m travelled per stroke regardless of pace or effort, and similarly if you're minded to be a calorie counter. I don't care - I just look at time and number of strokes, but some might. I found the app connectivity to be a bit flaky, but I think the issue is with the app and, again, it just doesn't matter for me.Finally, a tiny thing; the supplied pump is fine but puny. My advice if you can is to cut a 4ft length off a garden hose and use it as a syphon, but especially if you decide to change the water regularly. Low tech and ten times as fast.

Excellent quality and works well
Delivery:Comes in two separate shipments which arrived on the same day from two different couriers, seems a bit odd but was not an issue.Packaging:Sturdy and protective. Not a fan of polystyrene but it is what it is. No damage to the rower which is the key thingAssembly:Nice and easy to put together. Only tricky part was aligning the footplate and tank section as the tolerances are tight. Once together the structure is really sturdy. In use:Action is really smooth. I used to use concept rowers a lot and found the chain action caused a little vibration. The seat is very comfortable and the rollers are very smooth on the metal track. The foot plate is a little narrow so if you have big legs, like me, you might trap your bits between them occasionally. The V2 monitor is not particularly accurate, each stroke measures 6m whether it is a strong or light pull. I don’t really mind as I didn’t buy it for accurate distance measurement. As long as I end up doing more strokes in the same time I am happy.Overall:Excellent rowing machine, very happy.

Check packaging for damage on delivery, and it does assemble easily!
If you just want to row with minimum fuss and noise then this rowing machine is excellent. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is due to a delivery problem. As indicated in other reviews the rower arrives in 2 packages on separate days. Everything looked fine and according to all the reviews I had seen and videos I had watched, the assembly process was going to be very simple. Three hours later and in a foul mood I gave up. To cut a long story short, it turns out I had been sent the wrong base beams. With the correct beams delivered, everything assembled together very simply and quickly - exactly as per the instructions! So if anyone else experiences an assembly problem, the chances are you have been delivered the wrong pieces.Unfortunately the replacement base beams had been slightly damaged during delivery - hence my advice would be to check the packaging, take some photos and send them to TOPIOM.In terms of customer service the TOPIOM team were very helpful / apologetic / polite and professional and acknowledged a mistake had been made which they were very quick to rectify. In terms of performance, I love it. As per other reviews, the machine is very sturdy and quiet with the only sound being the water "swoosh", which in itself is very relaxing. The LED control panel is very basic but does what I need.So if you want a sturdy, quiet, value for money, attractive rowing machine - then this is an excellent buy and I would definitely recommend it.
