Strontium Nitro 128GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with OTG Card Reader Up to 70MB/s (SRN128GTFU1T)

Let's be frank, I bought this for the price as it was the lowest price card at this speed. My drone says it needs this speed card or better for maximum video quality (they actually recommend only a handful of cards, and this was not one of them). Digging further, the drone has a 100Mbit/sec maximum write rate, which means the card needs to handle ~12.5MB/S writes (and this Class is rated a 10MB/s - MINIMUM). Anyway, I took the chance and when I inserted the card the drone said the card was 'not fast enough' for the highest resolution. OK, no problem as I knew going in it might not be. So, I reduced the video resolution one level (to 2.7K) and the drone was happy. However, the video had dropped frames and was pixelated, suggesting the card was still too slow at that speed. I reduced another level (to 1080p 30fps, and the video recorded fine. This works for now, but I am thinking the card I got is right on the edge of the rated speed curve or even slightly below based on the dropped frames. This card might end up in my wife's new cell phone and I'll go get a different card. Oh well, . . .

i have always used a regular SD card with a small slot for micro SD cards, but i always tent to lose them or misplace them. i found the Strontium Nitro MicroSD with OTG Card Reader (SRN64GTFU1T) 64GB for $21.24. i bouth this to use with my samsung phone and overall i am happy with this purchase.PRO: price is great compared to the prices at the office supply or retail store. sturdy not flimsy plastic, works like a charmCON: price dropped to $19.80, wish it had a physical tab to lock or unlock the protection option like the regular SD cards have.

Waited on reviewing this item so I would have Long term use of the product. It is as fast as they claim and have had no issues with this card at all works flawlessly in my Samsung phones(s4,s5, and s7), my cheap tablets and the supplied adapters work as well. Would defintely recomend to anyone searching for a microsd card

Its fine in my phone and for the most part is fine in an sd card adapter i had..but that funky little usb adapter it comes with does not work. It Is not recognized by either of my laptops nor my dads desktop.

*The card reader didn't work*. Haven't tried the adapter. The card (the actual micro SD card) seems to work fine;. I am already using the card in my Pi so it was inconvenient to try and return the whole mess. The seller in my case didn't respond to a query about that (if I could get a new card reader). However, as for the product itself and not regarding the seller, I give it 2/5 since the whole selling point for me was the card reader and IT DIDN'T WORK. Isn't recognized on my wife's nor on my computers. Nothing happens when inserted, no device detected on lsusb or dmesg etc.

Tried to post this the first time but Amazon rejected it without giving me clear feedback on how to make it acceptable.Pros:-The card is great. Reads faster than advertised (80mbps~ with a USB3.0 port and card reader), writes at 27.6mbps.-128GB as advertised (tested with h2testw, and been using for a few weeks)Cons:-The included card reader is a piece of rubbish. It's not USB3.0 so if you use it with the card, you basically hamstring the card and you will take ages to read/write from/to it.Wish they had saved us a few dollars and not included the reader, but the card is great

Works without any problems in my AT&T Primetime tablet to give me plenty of room for all of my mp3s to listen to as well as room for books and technical documents I download and read. The device has worked well enough with video and music on the tablet without ever stopping, skipping, or jumping. In my mind, a memory expansion card should "just work," and not make me aware it's there. This micro SD card has worked with no problems for me.

Handy solution for additional storage access on tablets and phones with OTG support.Item seems a bit flimsy, the quality could be a bit better, but no performance complaints thus far.Transfer speeds nominal. It compares to every other SD card. It's certainly nowhere near the advertised throughput. But when was the last time you bought one that was?

I bought this as my phone storage was constantly running low. I wanted to store my music on it. It does that fine but you can not play more than 1 track at a time off or and you can not play anything at all with it in the background. As soon as you switch screens it cuts off. So this is purely a storage device. Pretty useless as now I still have off load stuff to my computer. Only useful for reading micro SD cards on a PC.

This very reasonably priced item appears to work very well although I have at present no way of telling if it actually operates at 70MB/s. I have since ordered a 64GB Strontium UHS-1 card for my LG G3 phone for taking UHD 3840x2160 video which I assume will use a lot of storage on the SD card. Another pleasing thing about this Item was the packaging which actually fit through a standard letterbox. I usually find the amount of packaging on these items very excessive and totally unnecessary. The OTG Card Reader (USB 2.0) is very useful as it allows for data storage and transfer between OTG compatible devices through MicroSD card. All in all a great deal.

Tested capacity with h2test and all good. OTG adapter is good also (although it can be inserted into the USB upside down as there is no 'key'). As I use DiMeCards (v. handy) I need cards that are coloured different to each other, so that I can easily tell them apart from the 1mm that sticks out of the holder - this therefore fits the bill perfectly!

The USB card reader is a useful little device but the microsd card itself is physically larger than my other microsd cards and and fits so tightly into the card reader it can only be removed with pliers! I haven't dared put it into my tablet in case I can't get it back out again.
