I loved the look of this switch but my 25 year old apartment does not have a neutral wire in the switch wiring.I gave it 4 stars because it does say in the sales description that it will fit UK homes apart from the patress box. The box was no problem to change but the missing neutral wire was.

Easy to fit .Don't forget to earth it though . Works really well and looks good on grey tile . The sparky who fitted it is getting it now.

Had to run a negative to switch ! But works well when fitted didn’t use remote and no dimmer!

Couple of points :Firstly if you're not electrically skilled please seek advice before installing this.Secondly I see this time and time again - if you do not have a neutral wire terminated in your light switch this switch will not work !Thirdly the switch itself is fairly deep and you may need a spacer around the switch if you cannot replace the back box.I already had a Wifi dimmer light switch which works really well with Alexa and the Smart Life app. I hadnt tried this brand before and generally expectations of stuff like this is that they can be difficult to set up and instructions are poor - not so here all worked like a dream.Installed 2 switches in my Daughters redecorated room. First one was 1 gang 1 way replacement for a single way switch. Straight forward wire swap and connect to neutral. Powered up and switch worked ok with touch on and off. Then pressed and held for 3 secs and red light blinks, opened smart life app and connected to 2.4 Ghz WiFi network (doesn't work on 5 Ghz). Smart life app found the switch immediately and asked for my WiFi password. It was connected within less than a minute. I got a notification on my phone from the Alexa app saying a new device had been set up in Smart Life (nice !). I could work the device immediately from Alexa but I went in to change the name of the device.I set up the second device in the same way but this was slightly more complicated electrically because it was a 2 way switch. This is where novices should seek help (or watch you tube but I didnt say that !) I identified the live supply and the switched live to the light . I then discarded all the 2 way switching wires by coiling them up in the switch box. I then connected the neutral. With so much wiring the back of the box, depth was limited and I ordered a 10mm spacer to space the light switch off the wall. Set up was then as simple as for the previous unit.These switches operate 2 banks of down lighters in the same room. from 2 locations. Once set up in the app I was then able to group them into a room and gave the room a name (lets just say Fred). I could then say to Alexa turn Freds room lights on or off and it would operate both. I could also say turn on light one or turn on light two to switch the banks on individually. My daughter is very pleased with her new lights and bluetooth speakers in the ceiling which also connect to Alexa - all from Amazon :-)

Beware when dimming LED's the dimming range is not great I purchased 5 dimmers for a customers house.4 of them were on single pendant light fittings with dimmable LED's in there (LAP brand from screwfix) the dimmer hardly dimmed them I mean you could see them dimming but id guess the min dim range was 40% if that!I did se the min dim range in the app and ensured the app was set to LED's for the type load.The second I put halogens in they dim right down to a couple of % perfect.I since swapped the LED's for status brand and they dim further.So what I'm saying here be careful on brand.Now for the harder part.The 5th dimmer went in the master bedroom with 5c downlights again dimmable LED's this room I removed a different smart dimmer from a different manufacturer (does not look nice like these)This again was dimming down to about 60% so even worse than the single pendants again set the type load and min dim settings etc, but this time tried different brands Enlight (Aurora), Philips, Status, LAP (screwfix) the Philips dimmed slightly further down but are not as bright on 100% so customer did not like that.So the solution? Have 1 switch in a 5 bedroom house different to the rest! That's the only solution I can think of is to put the old smart dimmer in that looks completely different not ideal but I have n other option.Manufacturer did send a replacement out but same issue I could not explain to them that it's actually the traits of the dimmer.These issues have always been around since the introduction to LED's and dimmer (smart or not smart) there is always lamp to switch compatibility issues its a shame as these dimmers look the nuts and customer loves them!I will be keeping the dimmer to see if I can make any workarounds or to find a different brand LED lamp, if I can this review star will go up and the switches work perfectly no issues in set up or wiring etc.

I received it two days ago and it was very easy installation and doesn't flickering the light as door reviewers said. I used LED lights and it was amazing. I like the colour effect on the touch buttons.Only one thing, I feel that the full range of brightness bar is not fully used or sync with the light diming. I mean I got totally dark light at 10 % of the brightness bar. And at 80% I got the bright full light.
